After suffering through a big bank that had fee after fee and constant problems with the customer service. I checked out The Huntington National Bank. They were a local bank that was recommended by a friend. Everything went well with them. They waived the fees and overall it was a good experience. I can't point to any major issues I've had with them. I would probably still be a member there if I was living in the area. I recommend them if you're in the area and looking for a bank.
I am so happy to have consulted a Credit Specialist. I had many negative items on my credit, (late payments, hard inquiries, collections, card debts) which kept my credit score from getting better (657, 643 and 649. I could not access any loan so I started looking for ways to salvage my condition; I came across a 5 STAR REVIEW about JERRYLINK CREDIT GROUP on a credit forum. I looked them up and discovered they are highly rated. I contacted them via (jerrylinkgroup@gmail.com). They helped me dispute all negative items and boosted my score to excellent across all three bureaus. Right now I have a clean profile with wonderful trade lines. I’m recommending their services to anyone in dire need of credit fix.
Incompetent and negligent. TCF was better. At least with TCF, I could get a new debit card made on the spot. I had to cancel my debit card two weeks ago because I had a run in with a scammer, and its delivery seemingly got delayed because of Memorial Day, which is understandable, but the thing is, it hasn't showed up yet. Might have gotten lost in the mail, I don't know. While it was the USPS' responsibility to keep track of it, that never would have happened in the first place if they just kept the card printer. Now I'm hemorrhaging gas in my car, I can't buy groceries, I'm left starving for hours on end at work, all because Huntington screwed up. Soon as I'm able, I'm splitting from them. Even one display of this level of incompetence is unforgivable.
It's pretty sad when you say TCF was a much better bank. I disputed a few charges, they temporarily refunded the charges, then with them. This put my account negative and all types of fees, and then closed my account. This is one of many issues, I myself have had, as well as others I know. Stay away!!
I’ve been with Huntington for 20 years I love them they will always be my bank. I’ve had several disputed charges and Huntington has always been there for me
Freeze account when they want. Rude when I go into the branch. Never ever again. If Huntington was the last bank on earth I would bury my money in the back yard before I EVER go back to them! I gave one star because negative stars aren't possible.
Have been a customer for 5 years and have never received fees. Got a job at an area without my bank and get charged $20 in atm fees. I thought I’d ask for a one time fee forgiveness but the representative refused, put me on a 5 min hold, only to come back and tell me to upgrade my account to an account that doesn’t charge fees. What a joke.

They approved my company for a $250K SBA loan. I had to use it before 6 months expired. Since I didn't have an immediate need for it, I wound up not using it. In my book that is called being fiscally prudent. After 10 months I did need it, but was told I had to re-apply. Since my company had grown 3x since the initial approval, I thought it was just going to be a formality. Boy was I wrong !! They wound up not approving it for a number of ridiculous reasons that somehow didn't matter the first time around. Underwriters are either incompetent or were told not to approve any more loans since the banking industry is in turmoil due to terrible management.
I wouldn't get anywhere near this bank even if it was the last one standing.
A cashier's check from Huntington Bank should have the bank's name and phone number, the amount, the name of the payee and safety features. If you have a Huntington Bank cashier's check and are nor sure it's valid, the best thing you can do is check with the bank.
