I would say Steve Heller is a good insurance agent. He appears to have your best interest when helping you with your insurance rates. I would not say he is a good people person, but he did save me money when switching from a smaller insurance company. At the end of the day, that is all that really matters. I am able to save a good amount of money which lets me make more purchases, and he is able to meet his quota. I would recommend contacting Steve Heller if you are looking to save money. He gets his job done and I am satisfied.
I really like First Commonwealth and have always had a good experience with them. They are a smaller bank than most bigger and well known ones, and in my eyes, they have provided superior customer service compared to all other banks. I have never had an issue with them and felt that I was always treated kindly and with respect. I also have less than perfect credit, and they approved me for a small personal loan. They were extremely helpful in helping me obtain this loan. I have since paid the loan off and continue to use them for the majority of all of my banking services. I highly recommend using this customer friendly bank.
I am really pleased with my Huntington National Bank checking account. First of all, they have excellent customer service. For any troubles or issues I had, they always took care of it. During my time of running my small business, I would frequently have to make cash deposits after bank hours were closed. I could deposit the cash at any Huntington ATM and the first $250 would be available instantly. I was impressed with this because my previous banks, only the first $100 of any deposit would be available. I was also very pleased with the 24 hour grace period for any overdraft fees. For anyone who accidentally over-drafted their account, they would definitely understand how this would save them money.
The Direct Express Prepaid Card is a perfect supplement to those who are unable to obtain a traditional debit card. The Direct Express offers the same perks as a debit card though. You can use it pay your bills and for online or in store purchases. I like how there are no activation or monthly fees for this card. I do not like that there is a $0.09 cent fee if you withdraw cash from an ATM. The only way to prevent this fee is to have as many deposits as you have withdraws. Other than that, this card is pretty much perfect.
The Open Sky Secured Visa Credit Card is the best credit card for those with bad credit. This card is extremely helpful for rebuilding your credit. There were no intial fees to sign up. I had to make a $200 deposit to secure the credit card. My limit has since gone up to a $100. This card has been such a huge help, in helping me to rebuild my credit. As long as you make your payments on time and pay off your balance, they have no problem increasing your spending limit. The interest rate is also much lower than most other credit cards with bad credit
I have very mixed reviews for Allegent Community Federal Credit Union. I had an auto loan through another auto lender and was referred by a friend to use them for my automotive refinance. At first, I was pleased because they saved me 1% on my interest rate and the loan also was reduced 6 months. It didn't seem like much of a deal but I was pretty satisfied. So they get a good review for that. BUT, their customer service, is horrible. If you ever had to call them, their reps would always be annoyed. They were not polite on the phone and basically let you know that they were annoyed with the call. They were not helpful anytime I called. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The Public Savings Bank Classic Secured Credit Card does not seem like a credit card I would be interested in. Although I have bad credit and would be eligible, the required deposit of $375 is way too high. People with bad credit probably do not have that much to invest into a credit card, like myself. There is no annual or monthly fee which is a good thing. After the first year of having the credit card there is a $25 credit limit increase fee each time you deposit money to increase the credit limit. The interest rate is 11.24%. If the initial deposit for this card was much lower, I would be very interested.
