I actually just recently started to use this card. At first I was incredibly excited that I had an option to fulfill my sons little hobby without it coming directly out of my pocket. However!! Yes there is a however here.. I'm *very* annoyed that there is not an auto bill pay feature for this card. They should outline it clearly so you can see what you are getting into honestly. Its very inconvenient. Every single card I have ever had allows me to set up the payment for it and then only monitor it. Its so frustrating in my already busy life that I have to take the time to pay this. I also agree with some of the other reviewers about the reward card issues. In the advertising for it I assumed that it would come with some reward features but it does not. So overall I give Guitar Center Store Card a 3. I like that there is a deferred interest on some products. Its perfect for what I need it for. My sons hobby. If they gave us an auto bill pay feature I would rate it higher but alas it does not. I hope they change it at some point.
I have used Farmers Insurance for years and for multiple products. I started out using them for auto. Then added in renters. Now I used home and auto. I will have to say that my local office has seriously *amazing* customer service. When I signed up for auto insurance initially the process was incredibly easy and the disclosures were very well defined and easy to understand. Any questions that I had were answered thoroughly and I understood what I was getting into. They have worked with me a few times if I needed a day to pay and I felt very reassured. I would cannot imagine that I ever used a different insurance than Farmers ever. I love them!
I opened my RBFCU account 5 years ago. Prior to that I used Bank of America. I was so tired of all of the fees and feeling like a number and really was looking for a home town friendly feel. I am SO happy that I opened my account there. From day one when I walked in, they always greet me with a smile and offer to help with every single thing. One time in particular my account had some unauthorized purchases. It was the result of my card being lost. They were prompt. Gave me access to some of my funds along with a direct phone number to someone that could keep me abreast on the progress of what was going on so that I would not feel as worried. In the end it was all sorted out. The customer service and the kindness really do go a long way in customer loyalty that is for sure and this is where they shine! These guys get 5 stars from me! :D
As a general rule of thumb I do not keep credit cards available to me. I had an avenue card and it seems like the terms are quite comparable to the limited card. However.. yes HOWEVER!! There are some great perks to having a The Limited card. getting 15% off for every 300 is great. Especially if you are an avid clothes shopper or you are getting clothes for your teenager to start school that extra savings can really add up. They also have the birthday month savings too so that I could get her something for just a little cheaper for her birthday from here too! I will definitely be taking a look at this card now that I have read other reviews here and done my research.
