Best company ever. Reviews should be by state not national. I have had very good luck and very well taken care of. No claim issues and get everything handled in a timely manner.

The agents I work with are fantastic. I have home & auto insurance in NM & Colorado. The claim teams leave a lot to be desired. They don’t return phone calls & have been abrupt when speaking to them. I have had 2 recent encounters. One at my Colorado property & one now in NM. If it weren’t for my agents I could never maneuver through the claims division. Seriously thinking of taking my business & all my families business (who I referred ANPAC to) to a friendlier customer service insurance company

This insurance company sucks don’t ever sign up with them also don’t trust their mobile up because whatever you update on there will never get to them.

We had car and home insurance with this worthless company. We switched to them because a friend with two teenage drivers - both with accidents and a sportscar on their policy - were paying less than we were for 3 of us with one teenage driver and no sports car. They were great in the beginning and eager to help. Soon after we signed, they failed to include my son's good student discount which they had quoted me for. Even after I had sent them pictures of his report card a few times. It was a $60/month savings so I really wanted it. I emailed our agent several times and left voicemails to no avail. Finally after 2 months of seeing nothing was done, I called customer service and was paired with another agent. He was happy to help but soon after, pawned me off to his wife who is also an agent. She was also eager to help but then we noticed the same thing. I sent her a pic and 3 months go by and it's finally done. No refund for the missed months. Fast forward 6 - 9 months and we are car shopping for our 17y son. Ask for a quote and get "no problem!" That was 8 days ago. I asked after 3 days how long it takes to get a quote and now it's been 5 days since that email and nothing. So, I called and switched companies. I am done. We lost out on cars because this market is quick and insurance prices make a huge difference for a 17y boy. I get charged today for my next premium so I call customer service. They inform me that the agents never stopped my home insurance on our old house when we moved 4 months ago! They talked to our lender and knew we were selling/buying and our closing dates. Now, they need HER permission to cancel. I texted her that she needs to sign off as we are done. Today I get a response to my question from last week asking how long it takes to get a quote "right away is the idea". UMMMM I emailed that I sent that email a week ago and all she has to say is "weird". DONE. Useless. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Went to Lib Mutual and now we have more coverage for $200 less a month.

Total garbage product. This outfit went out of their way to deny our claim before they even walked through the door. “If we can determine that an UNKNOWN water leak has been occurring for more than two weeks we will deny your claim.” How is a property owner to know what’s going with the plumbing inside the walls from week to week? That’s what insurance is for!! AMERICAN NATIONAL IS THE OPPOSITE OF INSURANCE! Dodge that bullet and shop elsewhere.

This Company is the worst I have ever had to deal with!!!! Ihad a small incident with the garage door on my home and have been with the company for over ten years paid over 18000.00 in premiums and their portion is 800.00 for the claim. it has been almost a month with no garage door. Finally just hired a company to install one for me and paid everything out of my own pocket. Just today I was promised a return call and nothing. Now I was told that Cory the boss of the senior claims adjuster would be in touch. I was promised it would be marked urgent and was assured the Cory was good at getting back to the client. Not sure I believe that. Bottom line I am glad it was a minor claim that taught me to get away from this horrible company. I will be trying to get in touch with the insurance inspector general and also be launching a complaint with the BBB even though they are not governed by them. Word to the wise never do business with this company. If I could give a negative star rating I would!!!

This is the best insurance company I have ever had! When I was in a car accident, I uploaded pictures to the app and had money in my account in two days. The process was incredibly simple and easy. My agent, Nickolas Ketcham, was available for any and all questions regardless of the hour. I would highly recommend this company! They are the best that I have found. Thank you Nickolas!
