BEST Life and Health Insurance Company

I signed up for dental insurance through this company, but then decided to go with someone else. I canceled and they ended up charging me anyway. I called into customer service, had a very short wait, and I spoke to Josh. He was so nice and so thorough and he canceled my auto pay, which is what caused me to be charged, and then refunded me the money that they charged me. This took place within a matter of minutes. Josh was so friendly and so nice and so efficient that I said that I just had to write a review about him. I never use their service, so I don’t know about that, but I do know that they fix the problem for me very quickly, and I appreciate Josh so much for that!

BEWARE - DECEPTIVE COMPANY RIP OFF. Enrolled insurance through Healthcare.gov, setup auto draft for premium. Switched insurance through Healthcare.gov, Best Life received cancellation notice, but continued drafting $$ from my account. Customer Service stated although policy was canceled, since I did not call and stop auto-draft, they renewed my policy and extra payments were justified. I am now fighting trying to recover $358 they pulled from my account AFTER they received policy cancellation. Reading other reviews, I am not the only one, and I hope class action lawsuits or AG's office gets involved. Unethical and a completely Trash Company.

Had them for dental insurance. Their website is a bit early 2000 looking but I can deal with that. Made an appointment with my dentist on Sept 29th, they ran insurance and everything was good. Was seen on Oct 1st and everything was good. Feb 15th we received a bill from the dentist for the check up on Oct 1st.

Turns out that at the end of the day of Oct 1st Best Life had canceled our dental insurance. First I had heard about it. They had been automatically taking out the monthly payments and never had an issue. Called them up to see what had happened. Was told by the agent there that something had happened in there system and when it was taking out the money it would then decide not to take it. He told me that they are suppose to mail, email and call about issues like that. Never received anything communication about the supposed missed payments or cancelations. Spoke with our friend who is an insurance agent and set it up for us and it was the first she had heard about it either.

Long story short, bad website, no communication, bad billing practices on their side.

I just received my Jan 2022 billing statement for Dental Insurance with an $8.79 monthly increase. When I asked them about the increase they said they don't send out a notice of rate increase and that the only way their members will know is from the billing statement. Seems to be a pretty poor business practice not to mention raising their rates over $8 bucks a month is ridiculous.

Dental - Don't waste your time or money. I have NEVER been w a dental insurance where the company won't give info to the dental office because you haven't made a 1st payment. Recently discharged from hospital due to COVID and waiting on unemployment. The bill isn't due nor late. I guess this is what Marketplace companies get ya. I'll be filing a complaint w someone higher..this is ridiculous!

Cancelled policy and they still charged me another month. They would rather send multiple emails arguing a $19 bill. I am done. I would look elsewhere for insurance. Poor customer service.

This company should not be in business, they are completely unethical. I signed up with them for dental insurance through the Health Care Marketplace so I assumed they were reputable. We have only had our dental plan for one month and they have charged me 3 times. When I called to get refunded my money which is almost $300, I was told that their process takes 2 billing cycles or 2 MONTHS to refund. How is this legal? I asked to speak to a supervisor and the woman told me that they had no supervisors and they worked from home and that is just how the company is run. I am literally in disbelief that these insurance companies can legally stay in business when this is what they produce to their customers. They over charged me and then they claim it takes 2 MONTHS to get refunded!! STAY AWAY from this company.
