I called customer service and spoke with someone named Kenrin. She delivered one of the best customer service phone experiences. She was kind patient and answered all of my questions with a smile that could be felt over the phone. Her professional and friendly demeanor needs to be shared with in-person staff and her knowledge with the chat staff.

Great bank love using bank for business opportunities I appreciate everything I’ve received in good banking since my first loan paid off several loans got better bank card
I became a member of the Jackson VA Federal Credit Union (now Magnolia Federal Credit Union) over 20 years ago. I have sung their praises over the last two decades to anyone moving their bank account, opening a new one, or looking for a loan. Twenty years I ago I had every confidence in the world in this credit union. As it stands today, I not only would NEVER recommend this credit union again, but advise anyone I consider even a friendly acquaintance to close their account and find somewhere where your membership and business is appreciated. The employees at both the Flowood location and the main branch are no longer friendly or helpful as in years past. I think the business has gotten too large and money-hungry to provide the amazing service they used to have. Little by little the policies have changed and good employees who actually cared about their members have drifted out the door. I have fought to keep my business with MFCU - even as they did away with shared branch banking and created policy after policy that makes it near-impossible to do business with them from Copiah county (one of the counties they are SAID to serve. Most recently I came to them trying to move more money into my MFCU account and needing assistance in the transfer. After speaking with five different people including a branch manager and a member service manager I was FINALLY offered a semi-solution. However, it couldn't be offered without the manager repeating "I don't HAVE to do this" and "this is a ONE TIME courtesy IF I do." Thanks. Great. I have been a member for over twenty years, sung your praises, fought to keep my business with you, and I was repeatedly denied any help until I absolutely became distressed at the situation, and you want to speak to me like I am a piece of trash.
I will beg no one to allow me to do business with them. My deposits, future loans, and whatever other financial business I may have will be with a credit union or bank that appreciates their long-time customers.
I love doing business with bank magnolia Federal Credit union they are fair and I have experienced grace and a lot of goodness dealing with business with them

Thanks a lot for helping me see my real credit score and keeping up with my payments . This is great and I advise everyone to use this .
Worst customer service! My husband & I tried to open up a checking & savings account online, and after about 10 days, we had not heard anything so my husband did a chat online, and was told that everything was fine and it was still just processing. Then, I got an email asking a couple questions to which I responded, and then never heard anything else. We got a statement in the mail a couple weeks later that showed a $0 balance, so I called and was told we didn't respond to the emails so our account was closed. I forwarded the email responses back to Whitney Johnson to show her I responded the same day. Then, I get a call from someone else who told me that my husband never responded to his emails, which he never even received an email. Anyway, Denise told me word for word "ma'am, we are a call center that takes over 30,000 calls a day. We do not have time to chase down customers who want to open an account online.". I reminded her that we were not having to be "chased" because I was responding and my husband never received an email. She told me that if we wanted to open an account now that we'd both have to go into a branch. I then told her that we'd just take our business elsewhere and she then hung up on me. I'd like to add that was not yelling or screaming or being rude, but she was nothing but rude to me. She made me feel as if they had too many customers to be worried about me. That's fine, we will not do business here.
Great credit union nice credit builder loans good simple checking & savings accounts great interest rates on accounts and loans iPhone and android app friendly

This Credit Union has really changed. Customer (used to be Member) service is obviously not a top priority. I came to Magnolia from a big bank where I was just an account number. The excellent service and being able to speak to a person was huge to me.
THINGS have changed. I moved from the Jackson area but continued to do business with Magnolia because I felt like a valued member. After having deposits rejected, talking to service reps that do not treat you like a member, and now they want me to pay $20 for a new debit card that was mailed to the wrong address. Things are headed in a very bad direction here. It is obvious new management cares about their pockets. What happened to a Non-Profit organization that caters to its members? I would be better off at a big bank where it is at least convenient if I’m gonna be treated like a nobody.
