MERHO Federal Credit Union

I have been a member at Merho Federal Credit Union in Johnstown PA for years. They are a great locally based credit union in the Johnstown area located near Conemaugh Hospital. They have a second convenient location in Richland. At both branches the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Anytime I have ever had an issue with a charge or an overdraft they have taken care of it and have always helped me out. I would definitely recommend their services for anyone in the Johnstown area looking for a credit union as an alternative to a bank.

I have been a customer at Merho for about 11 years. I have a checking account and a savings account. Their online banking is very basic but still helpful to have. I am able to monitor my accounts when I'm traveling and I can transfer money easily between my accounts if need be. The staff is very friendly and always very helpful. The branch is behind Conemaugh Hospital and can be kind of difficult to find if you haven't been there before. Also, there isn't much parking due to it being behind the hospital and Bishop McCourt High School. One of the great perks to being a member is the discounted tickets that they have available to Hersheypark, Kennywood, Sandcastle, Idlewild, and other popular attractions. I also enjoy the Christmas Club, which allows me to put away money during the year so that I don't have to scramble for money to buy gifts later on. Overall, I really enjoy being a member.
