They are very good banking , very helpful and explain everything very clearly. Print the account information to keep you up to date
They will steal your money $5 a month by charging you for a invalid address fee for paper mailings it doesn't matter if you're 100% paperless. The customer service agents are rude and very unhelpful so I am definitely closing both accounts stay away from Patriot they're running a scam
I have two loans with Patriot one is a motorcycle loan which I do have a great rate the other is a consolidation loan. Upon doing my consolidation loan they sent the check out to a financial institution via USPS and the institution never received it. There was no way of tracking the check to know if it had really been sent out, yet I was paying Patriot for my loan even though they never paid off the other loan at this point. It took 6 months for me to find out because I was paid ahead with the other financial institution, it was only after they had called me to let me know my payment was due that I found out they had never received the check. This whole time there was compounding interest being charged on the loan, so after going back and forth between Patriot and the other institution patriot gave me a check to give them for the original payoff but refused to pay the whole compounding interest because of a check that was sent out yet was untraceable. Finally they agreed to pay x amount of the interest but not all of it and then told me "That interest and loan is not our problem it's yours." So needless to say to avoid destruction to my credit and incur more interest and issues I had to pay the balance of something that I have been paying Patriot to handle. So no I will not be using them for anything else and would not recommend them for anything after this experience and their lack of responsibility.

Good people. Local community banking made easy. Much better than an actual bank. I am very pleased with my experiences with Patriot for years now.

Hopefully they have an online payment option, only correspondence through mail right now. Low interest rate, low monthly payment and only a 24 month loan
Worst bank ever. God forbid you miss a payment. They’ll close your credit card. Very unfair of their customers!! This is why I go to bigger banks. Biggest mistake I made was joining Patriot. They will close your credit card after one missed payment, they are extremely uncaring. They closed my account and no one could tell me why. I have PNC, Chase, and Capitol One they’d never put me through this. This is my last time ever using a local branch. Truly a disappointment
Do not bank here!! They knowingly, wrongfully attached a garnishment to my 17 year old's account. Even after the judge denied the garnishment that never by law should have been attached to her account, they charged her a $100 garnishment fee. They claim nothing they can do to remove it and that their policy is somehow more important than the laws that govern garnishments. They actually had the nerve to tell me to go file in court to get her money back when they are the ones that wrongly took her money in a bogus garnishment fee. If they could so happily and easily steal this money from a child, what are they taking from the adults in bogus fees they try to justify? Never do business with this so called banking institution as they have zero accountabilty for their actions and simply blame the next person down the line. Quite simply if they will garnish a child $100 for a garnishment fee that never by law should have been garnished then turn and tell us nothing they can do but, I can go back to court to file to get her money from a garnishment that was denied by a judge already, what won't they do if they think they can get away with it? Run far and run fast from this banking institution. I am making it my mission to make sure everyone on social media, twitter, insta and facebook among the others all know about the practices at Patriot to ignore basic law over their policy to take money from children. I will tell anyone and everyone I encounter at stores and on the streets, stay away from Patriot. They lure you in with lies and fake sympathy then take your chdren's money through "policy". Law is clear on garnishments on a joint account, they don't care, they will take your money by any possible means. It doesn't matter what a judge says, their policy is to punish and penalize the innocent. Go to any bank, any cash checking organization, anywhere but Patriot! All they had to do was admit they were wrong, that by law, my child's account never should have been garnished, as the judge's ruling stated, denied due to joint account and refund the $100 fee Patriot charged. They didn't, instead got rude, they got snippy and the so called customer service lady yelled at me to be quiet, she insulted me while talking with their garnishment department, then she and another teller laughed when I was upset about their refusal to accept the law and admit they messed up and refund the fee that was wrongly charged. Nope, they didn't care, they hid behind policy, mocked me, refused to close the account for my child even though they knew she was with me crying outside, they wanted her to come stand in a crowded lobby and cry for everyone to see. No compassion, no sympathy, no soul!!! Profit at all costs, run from this bank, you and your money deserve better. Upddate: tried to close out her account today to get her last $12, took forever! This management team is happy to claim they care but in the end, this bank is more about lip service, lies and passing the blame on to innocent victims rather than simply owning their mistake and refunding $100 back to the child they took it from. Guess they are just so desperate for money they just don't care who they take it from. While they claim to be community service and care, their actions have proven that is not the case. Too bad, if their actions werr as good as their lip service, they'd be a decent bank instead of a soulless blood sucking leech institution that values their policies over their customers and laws regarding garnishments. My child had to learn that the hard way.
The Patriot Federal Credit Union is great if you live in Pennsylvania. They have many banks scattered across and are great with helping you get up and going if you need a credit fast and easy. They don't care if you have good or bad credit and the online banking is very convenient if you want to check up on your balance and your activity. You will not regret choosing this credit union.
