I've just recently switched to Geico in the last year in order to get a better rate from the company that I was using. In the last month I was in a fender bender but i was truly in great hands with Geico. Everyone has been very helpful in regards to my claim and we got everything cleared up in a few weeks. I havent had any problems trying to get in contact with an agent in regards to my wreck, as I have with other companies. And my rate actually hasnt gone up much either! By far the best insurance company that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Credit Karma is my favorite website. It allows me to check my credit score, for free i might add, and it updates it pretty frequently. As recently graduated student, its a very useful resource because it keeps track of all of my loans, as well as my bank accounts (checkings, savings), as well as my credit cards. It also offers me suggestions on how I may improve my credit score, and tells me if there has been a recent hit on my credit. By far the best credit website I have ever used. Did i also mention that it is very user friendly? It takes seconds to find what you are looking for. I can't see myself using any other website.
I have had my BoA checking account for about 2 years now. I was very happy at first, because i was a college student, and had a credit card attached to it. But after a while, i was incurring crazy fees associated with my checking account. They took money from my savings to cover overdraft fees, and it just dampened my whole experience. It would be ok if they just took the money from the savings, but they also charged 35 bucks to do it. Not cool. I have since stopped using the checking account as much because it just causes too much hassle.
I have been banking at NCSECU for over 10 years. There is honestly no other bank like it. They know me by name when i go into my local branch, and they process me very quickly and without hassle. Whatever i need, they are always willing to go above and beyond. I went through the process of studying abroad a few years ago, and they helped me so much with things that i needed for applying for my visa. I am so very thankful for this bank, and will continue to be a patron for years to come!
