
One day, I get a letter from the bank through which I got my car loan. The letter stated they received notice that my policy expired, and that if I didn't provide proof of insurance, my entire loan amount would become due. In a panic, I called my agent to see what was going on. I was told that my policy was cancelled due to non-payment. I told them there was no way this was possible, since I signed up for automatic withdrawals. State Farm's response? Too bad. They weren't willing to do anything to help resolve this situation, even though they were the ones who caused it. So, at that point, I went out and got quotes from many different companies.
