Smooth and easy transaction. Easy to do business with specially if you as an individual have all the required documents handy and organized.
Love my bank but! Really need cash from my home equity but there bank will not let me have my cash from my home. Heating up and air died. It has been really hot !
Horrible customer service. The loan representative never returned phone calls or emails. We tried to refinance our loan we've had with SunTrust for 18 years and we were put off for several months before we could even submit our paperwork. We were told they were just too busy to take the paperwork. Then when we were finally able to submit a request for refinance, that took months before we had word. We were told we qualified then suddenly, we were sent an email saying we didn't. I tried to call and ask how we could qualify to continue to pay the higher monthly payment at a higher interest rate but we didn't qualify to pay a smaller monthly payment with a lower interest rate. They never responded. Horrible company

This seems to be ok with me at this time. It's easy and convenient to use their website. I also like the online calculator and use it often
Customer service is absolutely terrible. Have an automatic payment from my bank sent to them to be delivered by the end of each month. According to them, the payment for January was lost in the mail. How do I find out? An email on the 20th of January saying a late payment is being applied to my account. I contact them on the 20th and am told to fax (cannot email according to agent) proof of payment which I did. Investigation would take a week according to him. A call back on the 26th, as I have not heard from them, reveals that there is no record of the fax. However, according to this agent, I can email the proof; done. A request to speak to a manager is deflected by their response "a manager will call you in 24-48 hrs". On the 29th, I have to call back as there has been no call by a manager. Agent: "no record of the email, you have to make this payment or it will go on your credit". Well I made the payment, cancelled the previous payment, and am now in the process of looking where to refinance this loan. I am not a dead beat just complaining. Credit is over 800, always pay more than the minimum due, and am never late. Unless you bank with them already, do not have your mortgage with them.

I'm with you 100%. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Shouldn't be allowed in business.

Suntrust guaranteed a much lower interest rate and the date of closing was one or two days after an expiration date that was not discussed. They then increased the interest rate by 2 points at a time that we didn't have opportunity to get another mortgage
