SWBC Mortgage

They gave me a Texas cash out refi but rolled it all into an equity loan. Which means my mortgage is also a lien that I would have to pay off in full to get rid off. So I have a ton of equity in my home but no way to access it for our retirement home that we are apparently going to lose. If I get the chance I'm going to empty my 401k to sue you unethical cowards.

Not a good experience at all. A lot of repetition in the information that they were requiring. We worked on a manufactured home for 30 days through different issues, another issue arise and they decided to just drop it, which cost me $2200 in round trip flight to view the house, home inspections, foundation inspections and appraisals. So in the end, we ended up with no house and a lost $2200.

Absolutely horrible company !! I never write reviews but they totally deserve this one. They purchased a second homeowners policy a week after we closed and basically blamed it on us. Our escrow went into negative and our mortgage payment went up a few hundred dollars. Jimmy Alexander told me that since I don't agree with why this happened that our conversation was over. It took months to fix (still ongoing) and they never do what they say they're going to do on the phone. There is ZERO communication going on in this company. Stay away, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY !! They will blame everything on you.

Terrible company. They absolutely failed at handling our escrow account and required me personally explaining to them what it should be for over two months before they got it right. They never contacted me and every time I called I got a hold of different person who had no idea what they were talking about. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Go with a real bank.

Great people and awesome service! John Burnam and his team are phenomenal! I definitely recommend them. They have a personal touch and actually call you to keep you updated.

My mortgage officer was fab (Dan Aiken in GA) but the website is absolutely horrible. 1. There is no app to easily log in and make a payment. 2. There are multiple websites for SWBC, which is confusing, and it’s difficult to find the correct one to even attempt making a payment, especially if entering SWBC in a Google search on iPhone. 3. The website was “updated,” a couple of months ago, which required creating a new account, and it’s even worse now to find the correct website despite my bookmarking the website in my iPhone (it redirects and it’s never the same website). 4. I’ve literally reset my password dozens of times in the past few days to attempt making my payment for this month and am still unable to access my account. I pay all of my monthly bills online with no issues elsewhere, e.g., this is my 4th mortgage and I’ve never had issues with signing onto previous lender websites, nor have I ever had issues making a simple payment online for various accounts (credit cards, utilities, student loans, etc.) Had I known how frustrating and difficult it is simply to access my mortgage online to simply make monthly payments, I would’ve never chosen this lender. Absolutely ridiculous.

We have been having a loan with the company for over 6 years. We have an investment property escrowed through them. Their customer service is the worst. They weary you by placing you on hold until you hang up. They are very attentive when trying to secure your business but once they get it, they are terrible in making themselves available for questions and concerns. Buyer beware. Sorry but I will not recommend them.

First of all, I would like to start off by saying "Thank You!" Best and easiest company to work with. Nikki Curry and Jackie are Amazing!! They made this process so easy. After working with another lender for three months to get nothing accomplished but a denial. I reach out to Nikki with SWBC Mortgage and she got it done in 24hours. I am so thankful to Nikki and The SWBC team for getting me into my brand new home. I would recommend every and anyone I know to SWBC. Thank you again for making My DREAMS COME TRUE!
