Synchrony home design credit card just deleted my account for not using it. Have $5000 line credit, paid them in full $4500 and got $500 more in credit, a total of $5000. Did not use my $5000 in credit in 6 months, got an email today telling me to call, when I called they said my account was closed because my credit score went down. Unfair, didn't use any of my $5000 credit with a 0 balance in time of a pandemic, they cut me off. UNFAIR, REALLY UNFAIR, I will cancel all of my Synchrony bank accounts. If I can give a 0 star I will. I have 3 Synchrony accounts, never missed a payment but they have the nerve to cancel my account during this time period of this pandemic. Nice job synchrony you doing a great job helping out your customers.



1. No email or chat support, only phone support is available.
2. After making a payment it takes several days for available credit to be updated.
3. Account info is only available via the Venmo app. There is no website.
4. Because of #3, the account isn't supported by any financial apps (Mint, Quicken, Truebill, etc) regardless of which data provider is used for syncing accounts (Plaid, Finicity, etc)
5. Apparently, there is a $10,000 cap on rewards for the 3% and 2% categories combined. Anything spent after $10,000 only gets 1% cash back.



Card canceled with no notice or reason. All payments were made timely. Horrible website and customer service. Would not recommend card to anyone. Card did not work at many pumps due to chip malfunctions and no help from customer service.

Been trying to get a JCPENNEY card since 1980. It is now 2021, and still not getting a card. I know people with $100 limits with their JCPENNEY credit card.

Follow the voice prompts to make a payment or speak to a customer service representative. There's no charge to pay by phone, except for expedited payments.
- Mail: Send a copy of your Amazon Store Card monthly statement and a check or money order made out to Synchrony / Amazon to P.O. Box 960013, Orlando, FL 32896. Make sure to include your account number on your payment. Synchrony Bank only accepts payments drawn from a U.S. bank account and does not allow cash payments. Make sure the envelope is postmarked by 5 p.m. EST on the due date for it to be considered on time.
As of today, Synchrony Bank offers a 23-day grace period from the close of the billing period until the payment due date. If you make your Amazon Store Card payment in full during this timeframe each month, you'll avoid paying interest charges.
