TDECU

TDECU is a great credit union to be a part of if you live in the Victoria area or surrounding communities. Their checking account is great with no fees like other big name banks, no minimum balance, free online banking, ect. Also another neat feature is that the bank has a self service coin counter that members can use and once your coins are counted, you just take the slip to the front counter and 100% of your coins will be deposited into your account or given to you as cash. No fee for counting coins, some coin counters charge as much as 10% fees. I high recommend becoming a member of this credit union.

I joined this credit union (CU) because I needed something local to conduct business with. I have had good success with my other credit union, however, I had to move and they do not have a local branch. I am happy to say that TDECU is just as good as my other CU. I never have to wait long to be seen by a banker and no matter what I have asked of them someone has always gotten back to me , if not the same day within the week. The great service has also encouraged me use a TDECU real estate agent and that has also been a great experience. If you do any banking at all, I highly recommend you use a credit union.

This credit union is amazing. The locations are relatively small so when you walk in all of the employees know you by name and make you feel very welcome. A few months ago I was in a very hard spot and wanted to consolidate all of my credit cards into one loan with a lower rate. I met with a banker who took my application and got me 5,000 in a matter of minutes. They saved me a fortune in interest and really helped me get my credit back on track. I had previously been declined for a loan at a major bank and have since moved all of my business to this credit union. I can’t say enough good things about them and will forever be loyal to them!
