The Members Insurance Company

I had a horrible experience with Members Insurance. They nearly doubled my homeowners policy so I found another company to insure my home and canceled my Members policy in writing and over the phone. Unfortunately, my bank's escrow department paid Members the premium even though I had canceled the policy prior to the renewal date. Rather than refund the erroneous payment, Members kept it. It's taken me weeks to get the refund processed only to find that they kept $118 for no apparent reason. Now they won't respond to my emails asking for a full refund.

Several months ago I switched to The Members Insurance Company, I was using Geico for my Auto Insurance and USAA for my Homeowners Insurance. Why I changed was simple neither Geico nor USAA was willing to offer a substantial discount by combining my policies without lowering my coverage. I will say that with The Members Insurance Company I was able to get MORE coverage for both home and auto for less money! Overall I am saving $856.00 a year. Another good thing that I love about using The Members Insurance Company is that I am able to speak with a customer service agent that is located in North Carolina, I really like being able to do business with someone that is located in the state that I live in. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking to get the best insurance possible for the money. Great service and great prices!
