They've always been excellent in customer service and willing to go the extra mile for customers. Years ago, a $24,000 check bounced against my $500 account balance. The woman from my local branch called me right away and we discovered that the check had been entered incorrectly by 1 number. While that may not seem like a big deal, most other banks would freeze your account right away and you'd spend days untangling the mixup. Not with Wells Fargo-- it was resolved within 2 hours.
