We work hard to present you with accurate savings account information on this page. However, this information does not originate from us and therefore we cannot guarantee its accuracy. You can check the details page of each offer for the date the information was last updated on WalletHub. In addition, keep in mind that actual rates and other information may vary for a number of reasons including the applicants' creditworthiness and differences between an individual's situation and the criteria/assumptions used to generate the information displayed. Before submitting an application, always verify all terms and conditions with the offering institution. Please let us know if you notice any differences.
Ad Disclosure: Offers originating from paying advertisers are noted as "Sponsored" on the offer's details page. Advertising may impact how and where offers appear on this site (including, for example, the order in which they appear). At WalletHub we try to list as many savings account offers as possible but we don't make any representation of listing all available offers.
Irrespective of whether an offering institution is a paid advertiser, the presence of offer information on WalletHub does not constitute a referral or endorsement of the institution by us or vice versa. Furthermore, non-sponsored offers have not been reviewed or approved by the offering institution. Information is displayed first and foremost to help consumers make better decisions.

I love SECU. I only have savings accounts here, but I have never had a problem. Even when I got married and the whole typical hassle of changing your name was easy with SECU. I have a regular savings and a holiday account as well. It is easy to manage my money online, and there are so many locations/ATM's that one can withdrawal funds without a fee! If you can become a member, I would suggest it! I plan to transfer all my banking to SECU once I run out of checks for my other account.
SECU is an excellent credit union so far. I recently opened a savings account here as I am earning a bit more money at work, and their rates are very fair. I won't earn a ton of interest, but they are competitive with other local banks and credit unions. The union is convenient to use and my money is secure. The sign up process and dealing with customer service went smoothly. So far, I prefer SECU to my previous bank because of the rates and convenience. I would definitely use SECU again for a future account of mine, assuming they stay competitive with their rates.
In the event that in a given week, for this product, there were multiple applicable rates in our database based on different criteria, the above graph reflects the lowest interest rate recorded. Before submitting an application, always verify with the issuing institution (i.e. bank, credit union, other lender) the rates, fees, and all terms and conditions accompanying the application.
