VyStar Credit Union Savings Accounts

I had an unusual problem/request, and asked for the manager at the Ponte Vedra Branch. Richard Cutler who was at the information desk, told me he was a supervisor and asked if he might be able to help, and indeed he did. I was very impressed with his willingness to go above and beyond to help a member.

Declines my check because they say I can only have six withdrawals out of my savings each month but never told me that and didn't notify me allowing late fees to compound without notice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION. They fail to take accountability for their lack of information or action. They do not care about their customers at all

My husband and I decided to open an account with Vystar to help us save money. Every visit to Vystar has been excellent. We are always immediately greeted with a smile and an employee willing to help. We primarily use a savings account with Vystar. It will only let us pull out a certain amount per day which has really helped curtail our spending. We love it! Additionally, there are plenty of Vystar ATMs around town which makes banking with them so convenient. I trust Vystar and have truly enjoyed banking with them.

Vystar Credit Union was the first bank I've ever held an account with. My parents set up a savings account and started building up a small fund for me. Once I turned 16 and gained my first job, I was able to open a checking account and receive my first debit card. The customer service exhibited by the representative was stellar. It's been years since I opened that first account all by myself, and I still remember how she made me feel like a rockstar. She was very thorough and explained in detail how everything worked with banking since this would be my first real jump into it all on my own. She didn't speak down to me just because I was some kid, and I appreciated that at the time. Every time since then, whether it be to deposit or withdraw or ask questions about various other products, I've always been treated respectably and have had all my answers questions. I never felt pushed to get their loans or credit cards, but the rates were explained nicely. Vystar always has promotions going on, you just have to pay attention to when they advertise them. I thoroughly enjoy doing business with this Credit Union.

I love that this offer includes a small minimum of only $25. I have been banking with VyStar a long time now and they did not charge me this fee when I currently opened an account with them. VyStar always has promotions and deals going on, so be sure to look into that when considering an account with them. Also, this savings account drastically helped me save money and it is easy to use with online banking. All I have to do is click on the account and it pops up without hassle or interruption. This is a great savings account!

I have several accounts with VyStar Credit Union and have always enjoyed the service received there. Tellers are friendly and always helpful, making suggestions when appropriate. Monthly statements are always accurate and up to date. The only downside is the lack of locations; however, this actually works well for me and my family to help keep our savings under control and harder to "dip into" for impulse buys. Signing up was pretty easy, but since I was opening so many accounts at once (for my children) the process took a bit longer than I would have liked. VyStar is an excellent choice for people in the Florida area. I am unsure how many locations they have.

Back when I first started college, my mom signed me up with VyStar Credit Union. I don't remember what the account was called, but I got a CD with good rates, a credit card with a reasonable line for my age, online banking, etc. It was a pretty good deal. Though, to be honest, I don't ever recommend giving a credit card to a first year college student. If you do go with VyStar for a student account, just ask them not to open up a credit line unless you absolutely need it.

In any case, I never had any problems with the customer service, so I have no reason to give them a lesser score than five. The disclosures were pretty up-front when we talked to an agent, though I don't think I understood half of it at the time. The application process was a breeze.

The only reason I give “Problem Resolution” a four out of five is I was once charged $2.32 out of nowhere by some company I had never heard of, and I never got the money back. The customer service said it'd be cleared up in a few hours after I called them. That never happened. However, I probably could have called again and it would have been resolved, so I'll just chalk it up to human error.
