Finally a home for my hobby! I'm retired now, but I used to work in the credit card industry, in underwriting specifically. Instead of playing with toy train sets, golfing, early bird dinners and other old people stuff, I actually like to use some of my abundant free time helping people get approved for credit cards, as an advisor for WalletHub.

Too many people have way to much credit card debt, on top of their student loans. And perhaps even more people have the wrong credit cards, or got rejected a bunch of times before finally getting approved. A lot of that is easily avoidable. So I'll try to answer whatever questions people have. Financial literacy really is worth its weight in gold.
