This company is a disaster. Bill Fisher, president of Bay Area Receivables, came out of his office while I was in there paying my bill and started bullying me and constantly making discriminating comments against me. I fought for 2 weeks trying to find out who this man was and attempting to get help and resolution from someone in the office. Doreen, a supposed supervisor told me that as long as my bill is being paid, it doesn’t matter how I’m treated there. Then, last night, I found out the ‘gentleman’ who likes to belittle and bully small women, was the president of the company. No wonder the employees are too afraid to admit this man’s faults and offer an apology. I will continue on my journey to get this resolved. I’m not sure if I can transfer my debt to another collection agency but if it’s possible, I will pay hundreds of dollars to do that. Bill fisher needs to be fired if he refuses to take responsibility for his actions.

This is is very helpful and the willingness to notice when things have changed. This app is pretty accurate in its findings and if something just doesn’t seem right. The app is good for wanting to know if the information is correct or not.

I cut my finger badly in January of 2017. I had to go to Atlantic General Hospital for stitches. I thought my supplemental insurance was taking care of the bill. It eventually went it court and I had to pay for the procedure through garnishment. I thought that was the end of it. Fast forward 5 years… to 2022. I receive a notice that what I had already paid for was in collections from 2017! I disputed it and they said I owe still??? It was already garnished 6 years ago! Looks like I’ll have to wait this one out. I refuse to pay a bill twice because THEY made a mistake. Thanks for ruining my credit Bay Area Receivables!

Unprofessional. Will not admit there own faults. If they mess up billing it's your fault for not check bank statement. As if they check there bank statements to make sure a bill came out. When you know for a fact you made the whole payment based upon a agreement.

So far this service has helped and I hope it continues to do so. Validation of scores is a plus and watching the scores rise as things come off is great

I disputed this a few years ago and it was deleted until a few months ago. I think the date on it then was 2013 but now its 2016. I guess the 2013 date was too old so they changed it. LOL. I won't waste my time with these people a second time.I will NEVER pay common thieves a debt i do not know. I did not leave the state of Alabama even one time in 2014 , 2015, 2016, 2017. I had NO dealings with either of these companies in the last 9 years at least.

Not even worth reviewing.... As soon as I received the notification in my wallet hub application, I contacted the collector and made the payment in full.

I paid my hospital bill that went into collections. I have called them and disputed the balance and they are still reporting that my bill is outstanding. It’s never been this much trouble after paying off a debt. They are a terrible company
I will settle for the amount above which I can afford. Please contact me on this matter as soon as possible please.

This company misidentified me as responsible for a debt. Regardless of wrong state and information. They then entered the information in credit reports without even fact checking or attempting to verify for 3 months. They then made numerous phone calls over 3 months with attempts to pay a debt that wasn't mine. I had to resort to legal action to resolve.
