I am such a huge fan of TB Bank in general. I had a Checking Account and it was going on around 5 years when I decided I wanted to start a savings and after procrastinating on it a few days I called customer support and they were amazing. I quickly and easily set it up directly online. The interest rate is amazing and the customer support is top of the line. I would never switch banks as they have been amazing to me. The only down side was the time it takes for transfers or deposits to hit but with that being the only drawback it still makes them a perfect choice for savings.
How can you say the interest rate is amazing when it's below national average AND there's a $15/month fee apparently. Are you sure your review is for the Select Savings account?

I opened a savings account with TD Bank a few months ago and I must say I am fairly happy with the overall service. It does not require a monthly fee. As long as I have a minimum amount transferred from my checking account, which is extremely convenient. On top of the money I want to save an automatic sum also goes into the account. It helps my money grow at a reasonable speed. The customer service reps are very friendly as well. There was one time when I did have an issue with my deposit that did not go through. I was charged the maintenance fee. However after being on the phone with them for about five minutes they realized it was their mistake and they quickly resolved the issue by refunding me. Great bank and I love having a savings account.

I cannot say enough about how great my TD bank savings account has been. I previously had the student savings account which was great while I was a college student. Now that I am over 24, I was switched to the simple savings account. This account is very convenient and easy to use. The account has a monthly fee of $5 which is very low. However, they will also waive the $5 fee if you maintain a monthly balance of only $300. I think this is a great savings account they have for young people right out of college who may not have the best jobs or cannot save a lot of money. They also have very convenient hours and locations so it is easily accessible.
Having already opened a checking account at TD Bank, I decided for convenience that I would open a Savings Account there as well. They have a multitude of locations in my area so it was beneficial to choose them for my bank. They required a low minimum and low balance to open the account and maintain it with no fees. That was a bonus as some other banks required a higher minimum to keep an account with them. They were also able to set up an automatic transfer from my checking to savings account to save money from each paycheck. Their convenience and easy website/phone application make keeping up with your balance a breeze.
I really enjoy my TD bank savings account. I have always had a wonderful experience working with TD bank. They have great customer service and clerks who are always willing to help. I also enjoy the low balance requirement of $300 to avoid any monthly fees. As a student, I can also avoid the monthly fees with my student checking account which is an added perk! The interest rate also helps my money grow while it is sitting in the account. I would definitely recommend the TD Bank simple savings account to someone who is looking for an easy and convenient account.
TD Banks savings is pretty much what everyone has come to expect from a savings account. You put money in and it slowly gains some value as time goes on. .05% doesn't seem like a lot and it really isn't if you just put a hundred bucks in there and wait. If you are savings thousands though for a trip or something big like a house, it starts to add up nicely. Have not had any issue with my savings account with TD and its been up and running for over a decade. Customer support is always top notch and easy to deal with.
I use TD for my business. I have a checking and savings account. It's very easy to move money between them and it's great for accounting purposes. I can regulate the amount of money i have to spend at any time. If too much builds up in the checking I can just move it to the savings where I do earn a little more on my money and it keeps it safe. I also like the fact that using the savings account like this requires me too rethink large purchases. It kind of eliminates impulse purchasing. There is a small fee, but it's negligible.
I have Young Saver account and I can say I’m satisfied with what I have. I don’t have a very high interest rate but honestly I’m not too great of a saver to have to worry about it. I like having my savings account though because I can at least attempt to try to save some money. Online transfers between my checking and saving are very easy, but might be my downfall. I do like the concept of their Holiday Fund because it stops me from transferring unnecessarily!

I opened a savings account over a year ago with TD Bank and have no complaints. It was easy to set up and very fast. I deposit money into the bank weekly and haven't touched it, so it is nice having an account to just save money in. I felt like I was more willing to pull money out of my checking account, so opening up the savings account was a great idea. The $300 minimum is easy to maintain if you are using the account to actually save money in. I just know I have to keep the minimum and it is fine. The first year the monthly maintenance fee is waived which also helps save money. Great bank account to start off with.

I have had my TD savings for many years now, and just moved to a new state. I loved that I didn't have to do anything special when I moved because there was a TD bank located where I moved, close and convenient to where I am living. I have had absolutely no issues with this bank, and grew to love it even more when they extended their hours. Now I able to get to the bank before or after work and on weekends which was not the case many years ago. I have to say I've never experienced such "friendliness" when going into a bank before. Everyone there is so eager to help you with whatever needs you have.
