Needed to make a change in my loan payment amount. I was unable to do so on the website, even though I was able to set up automatic payments on their website. I called, was on the phone or on hold for 40 minutes. Spoke to 4 different reps. NONE OF THEM could help me. VERY disappointing and aggravating to waste my time to tell me they can't help me.. would have been nice if the FIRST person would have told me that instead of giving me the runaround.

Non-existent communication. They went ahead and did a hard pull on my credit but never even bothered to respond to my loan application. I definitely recommend not using them for anything.

I had a terrible experience when just trying to apply for membership with the USPS Federal Credit Union.
Unprofessional customer service and non-existent communications.
There are much better credit unions out there that actually want your business. The USPS credit union does not want your business. Stay far away!

The U.S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union is definitely the right bank for me. I'm not a mail carrier anymore, but they still happily serve me today. I like the bank because it's generally not too busy, serving mostly the small postal worker community. The employees are always very friendly and helpful, no matter what time of the day I come in. Their rates aren't the best, but they're mostly competitive. I would rather use the U.S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union than other places even if I might get a slightly higher rate somewhere else. Overall, I have enjoyed my time with the U.S. Postal Service Federal Credit Union. It's always convenient and a positive banking experience, so I'll continue to keep coming back.

I first started using US Postal Service Federal Credit Union a year after I started my current job as a mail carrier. I figured it would be easier to have everything associated with my job as it might be easier to clear paychecks. Although it is quicker than a regular bank, that's not the reason I've stuck with the US Postal Credit Union; I've stuck with them because they understand my hours and have been kind to me when I come in right before they close. It's a great credit union that looks out for us mail carriers. I highly recommend it to any current post carriers out there.

You have tobe White. Can't get a membership after 4 years of becoming a regular employee in the post office. i was converted 4 years ago and can't get a membership with USPS FCU. I HAVE BEEN APPLYING BUT NOT EVEN A RESPONSE. I NEVER SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. I THINK THEY ARE BUNCH OF SELECTORS OF WHO THEY WANT.

I started doing business with US Postal Service Credit Union over 10 years ago. I was then working as a mail carrier and it seemed like a good idea to be a member of the team. I didn't really see much difference than them and any other bank. Honestly, there isn't that much amazing or bad I can say about them. They are just a credit union. My interactions with the employees were always friendly and I never had any problems getting to my money when I needed it. The met all my expectation for how a simple but efficient operation should be run.
