The person had an attitude when I was trying to make a payment because the automatic payment would not go through. I put in the account number from the bill because it said to put in the account number. When I called and spoke to a representative, I tried to explain what their letter stated and where the account number was on the bill. The automatic payment system didn't ask for a reference number, it asked for the account number. Consequently, I had to call and speak to a customer service agent with an unpleasant demeanor about making a $5.47 payment. Then, when I attempted the online payment, they wanted to charge me $4.99 for using the card. That is not going to happen. I'm so done.

I do not owe this amount. I had full health coverage on that date. They provide no evidence of my accountability. I have not been able to get any response to my inquiries. They sent notices that say THIS IS NOT A BILL.

OMG! I have worked as a collection agent before and know how the system works, but these people take the cake! These ‘agents’ are paid a flat hourly rate that is just at minimum or below minimum wage because they are paid a bonus fee based on phone calls made and funds collected. Even if no answer, it shows attempt made and counts. CMRE was calling for my deceased nephew! I originally informed the company that hired CMRE, right after my nephew passed. Account was still passed to collection. I have told CMRE repeatedly that my nephew, whom they are calling for, passed away almost, now almost a year ago. No money, no assets. What insurance paid is what there was. I cancelled nephews cell phone, so no more phone calls, but CMRE continues to send mail, bordering on threats. I offered to send a picture of Death Certificate, but rude guy on phone said I was ‘not authorized to receive any information about the account!’ and hung up on me. Oh well. These people are keeping an uncollectable account open to charge original Creditor! If I were a business and hiring a collection agency, I would pass on CMRE! CMRE knows this account will never be collected on, but continue to rack up billing to charge!

You people have been trying to KILL my credit for years and when I do call you all are rude, ignorant and actually just almost childish. NO ONE can NEVER and I do mean NEVER help me out with what I need! All of you , every single one of you need to find a job that you actually understand or learn how to do this job! You people ( CMRE ) have no idea what is going on you have put on my credit score that I owe you $185. And when I call to pay it I’m told that is not right that I only owe $62.03 not $185. ( which is what is CMRE has put on my credit report ) THEN CMRE comes back and tells me owe my bad you actually owe us 6,000.$s. GET IT TOGETHER CMRE, and from what I see you all have nothing together and you don’t even know what all you people have put on my credit and have literally destroyed it. Add ANYTHING else and I will have my lawyers give you people a call and we can see what I can do to hurt CMRE’s pocket book. Y’all have been at this for 14 years and frankly I’m sick of it!!! No wonder you people only have a 1.9 star rating . Get it together cause with the service you all have at the moment it’s a wonder ANYONE pays you ANYTHING anyways and the ONLY reason I am going to give you people even ONE star is so other people will know just how ignorant y’all’s company really is. I WILL be calling trans union and having this taken off of my report , and the next person that I will be calling is my lawyer, your company has destroyed my credit for way to long now. 14 YEARS is a really long time for you all to be destroying someone’s credit ESPECIALLY someone who is fighting health issues. Give me a break y’all are no more than a joke !

They will not remove it trust me I have been trying for months to get Dr and hospital bills that my insurance has paid for already and these people will just give you the run around about it. Try looking up “ class action lawsuits against CMRE” There is a bunch and you might have to add your name to the lawsuit. What I have learned from my lawyer is that NO ONE can harass you about anything medical, not by phone, mail, and even on your credit score. ESPECIALLY if it is CMRE doing it. They destroyed my credit, they tried to collect on bills from 2009 and they can only claim up to 7 years , and if they are harassing you, get a lawyer cause I have been fighting CMRE for almost a year now. Good luck !

This company has been ruining my credit for months with zero reasoning. They took on bad debt that were medical bills already paid for by my medical insurance and refused to look at the documentation I provided twice or consult with my insurance company who tried to reach them as well.
Medical bills don't generally show on credit anyway, and these were already paid.
This "CMRE" company will take any kind of paid or unpaid balance from anywhere you do business at any time and ask for money or ruin your credit with no protocols for what happens if their purchased debt is bad/not debt. I can't remove it, and they keep pushing as if it was somehow legitimate to begin with. I know they have several class action lawsuits against them for this kind of behavior so CMRE is not a real service and did not have the right to mark anything as debt or to charge-off any debt as there was never any debt.

They do not have an active email account. They do not have a working phone number. I mailed them a letter stating I wanted to pay my debt and still no response. They make it utterly impossible for you to pay your collections except through a portal on a website that appears to be unstaffed. I am not entering my CC info into that trap. I want to give CMRE money but I don't think they really exist. How do I get this off my credit report?

I thought it was crazy. They were collecting a debt from medical bills at the hospital, but my deductible was paid and I still got charged 285.00 and then I called and CMRE said they had another hospital bill that was going on my credit collections, so I paid off CMRE and waiting for it to show up on my credit report.

No matter how many times that you pay them , they will continue to put things on your credit even if you have already paid the same bill once before. Before you pay these people one dime MAKE sure that 1st you even owe the bill , they seem to enjoy trying to collect someone else’s bill on your account. They also like to try and charge you for bills that your insurance has already paid. Basically if these people try to get money make sure that it is yours and if it is make sure that you have NOT paid this bill already or that your insurance company has not already paid it as well. And for those of you that are NOT aware you do NOT pay anything from the time that the pandemic hit because you do NOT PAY ANY MEDICAL BILL from the time the pandemic hit until now!!!
