Good company very understanding and works with you, Only downside is they Have no respect on calling so early in the morning especially on a Saturday morning waking you up. When you work overnights and don’t get home until 0600 and they’re calling you at 0800. Not only that, they nvr posted my lost payment. Sent them my running bank statement showing payment and a screenshot showing my payment was paid. Haven’t heard anything regarding this and it’s been well over 30 days. I’m really considering about giving my car back. Awful, I’m so upside down

While reading some of the negative reviews I had to come out and write a positive one. I was behind on my car payment due to medical reasons; I reached out to representative (did not get his name) but his ability to assist me was AWESOME.

I have spoken to plenty of representatives in the past, however today I called and spoke to someone who had no idea what they were talking about or how to explain it properly. They told me to call back 30 minutes later to speak to a supervisor. I went ahead and called for the second time and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Jesus, who was absolutely phenomenal! This man knew exactly what he was talking about and explained everything in a way that made sense. There definitely needs to be more representative like Jesus. If his supervisor to use this, please let it be known that he needs a raise. Now in the future when I call back, I will definitely be asking for Jesus.

I have been with Flagship Credit Acceptance for a couple of years because I refinanced my loan and was approved with them. The business was sold to InterVest in Nov 2025 and they never notified their customers with an email or letter. I happened to find out due to research. Moving forward; I was laid off from my job from June 2025 to Feb 2026 and was unable to get caught up on payments, of course they repossessed my vehicle which I was expecting. Retrieved my vehicle back after paying $2400 and I was told that the repo fees, towing fees and any other fees would be moved to the end of loan. They put all those fees on my loan. Spoke to a representative about the fees that were supposed to be pushed to the end of loan she said don't worry about it just pay your regular car note. Smh!! I am rebuilding my credit and paying my car note ahead of time, but seeing all these fees makes me nervous. The staff is not knowledgeable and should be trained better. Company overall should be out of business!! Wish I would have stayed with my other Lienholder.

Sounds about right from what I am reading. When you don't have piles of $$ sometimes we are forced to deal with horrible companies. A payment of mine is "lost" and now as I'm trying to not fall behind as a result of this I put in a payment online and it's not showing up again!!! I'm nervous to do a payment over the phone because then 2 payments will be floating out in cyberland somewhere. I distrust this company so much that I won't even set up autopay. Am working towards getting away from them. These times are tough!!! Everyone seems to be a con. Of course always talk to someone overseas when I call! Agree I would give a rating of 0 if possible.

If I could give this place negative stars I would!! I decided to call them & ask about how to make extra payments for my principal. They told me after my monthly payment was paid if I made a payment after that it would go to the principal & I didnt have to select anything to state that I wanted to pay on just the principal & that was a flat out lie. I was still paying more intrest on the extra payments than the principal. I have called multiple times & everytime I get a different answer & run arounds. I asked can I please just make an extra payment over the phone to just the principal & they told me it didnt work that way. I believe they just want you to stay struggling because I know before I signed with them I asked them if I could pay on only the principal after my monthly bill was paid, that is the question I was taught to ask growing up if I ever got a loan, they told me yes. & now im struggling even more because I have been paying for over 2 years on this car & still owe over double of what it is actually worth now.

Hi, Kirsten. We understand there's been a disconnect, and we're here to bridge that gap. While we can’t discuss your individual situation publicly due to privacy concerns, we can state that customers can make extra payments and they will be allocated first to accrued and unpaid interest and fees followed by principal upon request. We’d like to connect with you to discuss your concerns and ask that you reach out to our Customer Advocacy team at [email protected]. Thank you!

My loan has been transferred to another company, when I tried to make a payment I was unable to do so because all accounts that were transferred have not been placed in the system yet. Did not receive a notice or warning pertaining to this transfer or take over, when trying to get information from the website or the number provided, received no information, finally after calling for an hour I was able to get a recording saying I would not be able to any info or make a payment until all accounts have been successfully transferred the next month. Will I receive a late fee??? This is the first time this has ever happened from a car loan, poor customer service ever, be so happy when I'm done paying the vehicle off.

The worst customer service ever! I've dealt with subprime lenders before, but this has got to be the worst I've ever seen. They threaten you and call you at unbelievable times. It's ridiculous when you've explained your situation multiple times there's a difference between someone struggling during the economic times and people who just don't feel like paying due to high interest rates and unbelievable car payments.

Honestly, if I could give this place negative stars, I would. I've got a $17,000 loan from them and have been paying over $444 a month for more than 2 years, and guess what? I still owe $14,000. On top of that, the one time I got behind a few months back, I called to ask for a payment postponement for 2 weeks. They said they would give three days and then threatened repossession if it wasn't paid by then. Keep in mind, at this point I was by no means behind on the payments and had never missed one before. I don't know what kind of scam they are running, but I'm tired of it.

Hi, Joshua. While we can’t discuss your individual situation publicly due to privacy concerns, we believe it is important to note that Flagship’s rates are consistent with the market and are uniformly risk-based. All terms and conditions are clearly disclosed and agreed to at the outset of the loan, including any fees, the interest rate and monthly payment. We can also state that like with most auto finance companies, our customers have simple interest loans that accrue interest on a daily basis, and the key to paying down this type of loan is by making the full installment payment on or before the due date each month. As the outstanding principal balance reduces, the portions of the payments that are applied to interest will decrease, leaving more to be applied to the principal. Regarding your other comments, we’d like to connect with you to see what may have occurred and if there were any miscommunications. Our team can be reached at [email protected]. Thank you!

If I could give them a -1, I most certainly would! I cannot begin to describe the disappointment and frustration with this finance company. We purchased a car on 12/17, and granted, the initial visit went well with Mark Lincoln Ford, and I was happy. However, it's the days that followed that it all became the absolute worst experience and an annoying process ever. Here it is 01/08, and I had to go return my car because MLF used this shady finance company "Flagship" to finance my car; they never closed the loan or did their job properly. A few days after getting the car, we began to receive rude messages from an MLF salesman, then the finance manager stated out of his own mouth that they have had to ask customers prior to us to come return their car because this finance company was being shady. We got the car on 12/17 and had to return it today, 01/08. Tell me how that makes sense and how is that fair to the customer?
My husband did absolutely everything that this company asked. He provided pay stubs, phone numbers, names and numbers of each manager, not to mention Flagship spoke with the HR manager who verified the employment. My husband emailed them from his work email, and they spoke with my husband's direct boss. So how much more verification do you need? his life story!!!!
It's not our job to verify income or jobs; it's yours. Why do we have to do your job? This was the worst ever process. You people at Flagship wait 3 weeks after the customer purchases the car and harass them every single day for information that was your job to verify, not ours, then have the dealership advise them to bring the car back. What type of positive experience is that? We never received any information or paperwork from this company, and now it all makes sense. I would not recommend this company ever in my life.
We had the worst post-purchase experience, the very worst I'm very disappointed with MLF and Flagship, very dissatisfied. The experience was uncalled for, not professional, and a slap in our face. I never leave bad reviews, but they deserve it. To make matters worse, my husband purchased the car as a birthday present, and having to give it back hurt me a lot. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I also will be calling the state on you unscrupulous people to find out if they can legally do that. Giving a 1 star is too much. They deserve a zero. How dare you treat your customers this way! You are not a good finance company and do not deserve to be in business.

Worst company ever. They lie to your face, don't care about your well-being, never listen, and just want you to struggle. Been a customer for 5 years. I'm never going to pay this vehicle off and they don't give a rat's tail. Very rude and unfortunately, I'm stuck with this subpar company for an eternity. Run, don't even try to get financed with them; they're not worth it. Great customer service, my foot. I get better service at McDonald's.

I made a payment arrangement with this company to make a payment on the 13th of November, but they took a pre-authorized payment from my account on the 7th of November, pending until the 10th of November. That's fraudulent behavior and service. The representative manager asked if someone went online to make that arrangement for me. They knew they had pre-authorized the money so that my banking institution couldn't stop the charges. I would advise against getting a car loan from these people, as their actions are deceptive.

This is the worst auto finance company ever! I am not even 30 days late and am receiving repossession letters. I have worked at the credit bureau, and one thing I know is that by law, you have 30 days before it's considered late.
Please trust the reviews you are reading. Do not sign with this company. They have very unethical practices. I am currently writing to my attorney general regarding these unethical practices.
