Mocse Federal Credit Union

As usual I visit the Coffee Rd Branch, ATM is out of service and the line inside is about 7/8 deep. And as usual there is but one teller. It’s like that most of the time. God forbid you want to call them, good luck. Been a customer for over 30 yrs. If I didn’t have all my retirement accounts deposited there I’d change today. Their self imposed surveys are loaded for positive responses. Frankly they’ve become almost intolerable.

Drink less coffee, energy drinks, or whatever your on, and listen to your clients. Have normal conversations where one person listens and then responds after the other has finished speaking. Don’t be so quick with the hold button. The culture there has changed. Been there a long time and it seems as if the management has gotten more arrogant, condescending, and out right rude. Just because you get paid managing other people’s money doesn’t mean your made of money or that you are the money. Remember the consumers are investing in your institution and creating your jobs by choosing your products or money management. We’re not here for your convenience, you’re here for ours. Customer appreciation goes along way or drops off a short cliff depending how you treat it. If I have $1 or a million$ in your Bank, everyone should be treated with professional courtesy, dignity, and appreciation. Some people need to learn how to appreciate others. There are very few individuals left at Mocse who understand this. Thankful for those few, unfortunately they don’t have more, and it’s the ones who we need less of that will think that they are the few.

I cannot really recommend Mocse to anybody looking for a good checking account. I had an issue a while ago with someone stealing my identity and spending a good bit of the money I had in my account, and Mocse took an incredibly long time to resolve the issue and get my money back. It happened eventually, but I had to keep contacting them until they finally did something. The checking itself is good, but go with someone who cares about your money.

I’ve used Mocse Credit Union for a credit card that I’ve maintained for about 3 years. Their staff were very helpful, since I had never used a credit card before they were very understanding and laid everything out clearly. There have been no problems with anything as far as hidden fees with the credit card that I have from them. Their location in Modesto has a staff that is very friendly and knows me by name. It would take a lot for me to consider terminating my credit card with Mocse and the relationship that I’ve built with the credit union.
