Trying to make a payment and all they can say is, "Well, you owe $2,000." Apparently, if I make a payment, they want the whole $2,000, and if I can't make it, "Oh well." It depends on if I am eligible for assistance. I have only $20000 left, and they are the worst people to deal with. I don't know if they all sit in one room and speak ill of customers.

This company, Vanderbilt Mortgage, is also known as Clayton Homes. They specialize in building triple-wide trailers. They did a nice job of getting me into the place, but after receiving the closing costs, deposit, and everything of that nature, the company was initially willing to work with clients. I'm pretty sure many clients probably went into foreclosure around Covid time due to the depletion of work. The company was more than unwilling to work with their clients. I voluntarily gave the home back, but for some reason, they have opened and re-closed this credit line on my account numerous times, seemingly manipulating the seven-year process for credit removal and the statutory limit. Like I said, they will open and close a credit account on your credit report to manipulate the seven-year statute.

Fallen on hard times after my husband passed away. Been talking with Robin Rhines to make arrangements to get caught back up on my house payment. Robin was very kind and went above and beyond to help me. Robin even told me about an app to download so I could be able to get my medication that I couldn't get cause I couldn't afford to get it. Wish there were more people like Robin Rhines in this world. She is a blessing.

We ran into some hardship, making it impossible to make our monthly mortgage payment. I called Amanda and explained our situation, and she and Morgan (her supervisor) were able to defer 2 months worth of payments to help us catch back up! Amanda and Morgan, you are awesome!

They gave me a good rate and things were fine for a while. Then boom, my escrow went up $500/mo. For most families, this is completely unaffordable. Then, they do not pay my taxes or insurance that is suppose to be included in the mortgage. After complaining and trying to get this sorted out, they immediately sell me to another lending company. Avoid this place at all cost.
