They JUST illegally placed a medical bill on my credit report in May 2025. The new law, from January 2025, prohibits that! As "debt collectors," they should, and probably do, know that.

This bill was paid by Medicaid. I have Medicaid, and they still say that I owe the bill after Medicaid has paid it. Something needs to be done about this company. I need this off my credit report.

I have never dealt with this company. Wakefield has called me and harassed me even after I told them that I have never heard of the company they are collecting for. I want this uneducated team off my credit. It's not legitimate.

They were extremely rude and demanding. I said, "Look, I'm homeless with no money. How can I pay you?" And they insisted that I had to pay. They are impolite and a joke.

This company refuses to acknowledge that I have attempted to correct this wrong. They know this is a medical ambulance debt that should have been filed with the insurance company. I am a service-connected disabled veteran, and my treatment by these people has been ridiculous.

Absolutely painful and difficult organization to deal with. Wish I could give zero stars. Had to resolve a medical debt from a work-related injury and it took at least 10 phone calls.

These people are money grubbing liars.They tell you that the collection will come off your report as soon as you pay.I was never contacted about this debt.They bought the debt and said they don't do that.They said to pay half and they will close the account and remove it from my report.

I paid them in full for over 5000$ in a medical bill I didn’t even know I had to pay (never sent the bill never sent anything saying it went to collections, they just put it on my credit) and they won’t remove it from my credit score even though it is now law to remove all paid medical collections from scores. They lied and said they would send me a deletion letter upon payment processing and when I called back it turned to 48 hours and then 7 days and now experians dispute confirmed the debt as accurate even though it is paid off.
Update. They did finally send the letter. But somehow they had my address yet didn’t send me a letter when it first went to collections.
