I don't normally write reviews unless the company is really good or has horrible service. Recently I was issued a check from Wells Fargo Auto due to an overcharge to my account from their carelessness. They issued the check in the wrong name so I requested a corrected reissue of the check. I originally began my complaint December 2020 and we are now in April 2021, they claim to be backed up. There is absolutely no way they are that backed up. The IRS isn't that backed up getting checks issued to everyone in the United States. AGAIN, someone has dropped the ball and not doing their job. If I have to blast this company name on every platform in order to receive what is due to because of their error, I will. Word of mouth can either break a company or make a company, my voice may not completely break the company but I sure will be heard and be part of the group who aren't afraid to voice their concerns and issues. I'm actually on hold right now for the past 30 minutes with Dio at the executive office, instead of her listening she decides to place me on mute as if I don't understand how call centers operate, another example of poor customer service. She doesn't have the right to get frustrated of my complaint of not receiving an answer as to why it's taking so long. It's not even about the check for me, it's the principle that they made errors from the beginning without having an explanation as to why and how I was overcharged up until now still not able to explain why it's taking so long to redistribute the correct check. If anyway possible avoid Wells Fargo completely.

Dealing with them is always miserable. Just found out they failed to properly notarize my Lien Release letter when I tried to use it at the DMV. The first person I talked to was polite, but couldn't help. Full two hours on hold and no resolution, so I can't sell my car until they bother to answer my phone call. dealing with them has often been difficult, but that one is the worst so far...

I have had several issues with Wells Fargo over the years and I try to avoid doing business with them because their customer service is horrible. Wells Fargo decided to merge the online bank accounts profile with the auto loan profile recently. Since then I have not been able to access my auto loan information. I have been to a branch, I have talked to customer service over the phone several times and they keep telling me they are sorry and that they try to resolve within the next 24 hours but nothing has been done. I have been dealing with this for a few weeks now and have spent countless hours on the phone.

They are not helpful an would rather use information to mislead consumer rather than do what they should. I would never use them for anything again.

They would not let me pay the loan down quicker without writing a request letter each time I chose to pay more! I find this plumb annoying!

They have been destroying my credit, when no other banks act that way. II went to their website and found a link on preventing fraud, but the problem would most easily be solved if Wells Fargo never gets there hands on anyone elses' information again. If they aren't already going out of business, then they should be soon!

I have banked for over 10 years and have cash in the bank well is excess of the loan amount I sought. I even asked to borrow against a secured CD. Loan officers could not quote any rates but could only take a paper application. The bank branch (at least this one) is obsolete. No authority. No helpfulness.

After needing a quick $2000 loan from my bank I was sick by the advertised APR so they told me about this bank called Wells Fargo and I went to them. After meeting with a young and very eager Associate I was leaving 3 hours later with a car loan for a wonderful New Cobalt.(mind you this was a couple years ago) Well after getting an amazing deal for the below average credit I had at the time, I was able to get a good fee and got the car a couple days later. After a couple months I wanted to change vehicles since it was no longer meeting my needs. The new associate I talked to was even newer and less experienced, he told me they couldn't do that then after talking to someone who has been there, they said bring everything in and they would see what they could do. Well after 3 more hours I was told I was stuck with it and there was nothing that they could do to get me out of this contract but they could make a new contract for another vehicle, even though I couldn't afford it and they saw this on paper. They approved me for it and I ended up defaulting in 3 months because everything was going to a $350 car payment and a $400 SUV payment and all the other rent and utilities I pay, I wanted to get out of it and they were talking about extending my loan so it would take longer to pay at a lower rate and they would make more. I was definitely not better off after this learning experience.

I had been with Wells Fargo since college but left because they got bought out. I went back to learn about my options for when I purchased a car and they were actually happy to see me. I thought they were going to try to sell me products I don’t need me or be upset that I left, but instead they tried to win my business back. And they got it. Their rates were by far the best and their customer service was excellent. I had a problem with a late payment once and they were actually very cool about it. It’s definitely worth looking into additional loans and business.
