
I joined the credit union because I was told it was the best ever. That was true for awhile. After being with APCU for over 5 years I went out on disability. I had disability insurance on my SUV and credit card. Cuna was the disability insurance company through the credit union. They sent me a letter saying they will pay my then balances on my SUV and credit card, well after cuna paid for so long on both accounts they decided this is enough, they made a settlement with apcu and said they were done with my accounts, which still had balances, they just decided this is it, so they sent me a letter saying here's you last payment on both accounts we have satisfied both accounts . I called apcu and talked to Chuck H. who was very rude and lied. I spoke with the disability rep for apcu, they were like they have paid all they were supposed to have paid. A couple of weeks after cuna sent the last payments for my accounts, I looked into my account, I saw where cuna sent a $800.00 settlement to my account. I made several calls to APCU to find out why cuna put a $800.00 settlement in my account after they said they had sent my last payment? Noone could answer that, then they stop answering my calls. Chuck H. was very rude. He no longer took my calls.
