Their website nor their app offer autopay for their credit card. To set autopay you have to ask for a form to be sent to you via mail to fill and send back to them. I did so but the autopay didn’t and they charged me late fees. I decided to close this card.
I’ll also close all my checking, savings and Money Market accounts with them ASAP.

Let me start from the beginning, shall we? Keep in mind, I've never done business with BMO Harris in my life. I've never held an account, I've never applied for an account, I've never researched into getting an account with them. I came home one evening and received a "You're pre-selected to apply for our BMO Harris Cash Back Mastercard with a $200 sign up bonus!" - "Fantastic! I should have a pretty good shot considering I'm in the 700s and I'm receiving this mailer for a reason, right?" I hop online and I fill out the full application for the cash back card. I select finalize and I'm hit with the message "We can't finalize your credit application right now. Please call us at 888-XXX-XXX to get this handled."
Alright, so I give them a call. 45 minutes later someone, not sure if it's an underwriter or not, answers. I explain my situation and she just doesn't seem to understand the problem. She asked if I had a current checking or savings account with them and I reiterated "no."
"Well, you couldn't even apply for a card if you don't have an account with us."
Okay, well apparently I can because I just did.
After several minutes wasted of this incompetent woman not understanding I decide to hang up, hop online and just apply for a checking account because that seemed to be the only issue. I successfully open the checking account and I call back in. I wait an additional 30 minutes for a representative and they pull up my application. The rep states "Alright, Jordan I have everything pulled up. I just need to ask you a few questions to verify your identity."
I kid you not, they proceed to ask me the most absurd questions. Questions like "What street was closest to you when you lived on Indiana street back in 2011?"
"What is the birth stone of your Aunt ****"
Obviously I failed the test. They direct me to a branch, I give up and say forget it.
I randomly received the credit card maybe 3 days after the application. I call in to activate it and get transferred to fraud immediately. I verify everything they ask and the last security measure is to send me a code to the phone number they have on file... a number I have never provided them in my life and I've never had access to in my life. Obviously I can't answer a phone I don't have so they direct me to a branch to present 2 forms of ID. I go in the next morning and do so, the banker leaves a notation on my account, I leave and call back into customer service because my card wouldn't work. I get transferred to fraud once again and explain my situation.
"Oh, I'm sorry... the banker actually needs to call in with you present to verify everything."
I go BACK into the branch and the bankers are confused so we all hop on the phone and call them. The banker also pulls up my account and shows me my phone number listed and it is the correct phone number, so I have no idea where fraud is getting the phone number they have. We finally get everything taken care of, all activated and off I go. Card goes through on my first purchase, but then I go to log into online banking and my account is locked when it wasn't just 2 hours prior.
I have never had a worst experience with instating an account than I have with this bank.
