How do Tilt credit cards work?
Tilt credit cards work the same as most other credit cards, allowing you to make purchases on credit and then pay off your balance at a later date. The credit limit is decided based on your credit history and income and you'll be charged interest at the card's APR if you carry a balance from month to month.
Currently, Tilt offers three credit cards:
- Tilt Essentials Card
- Tilt Motion Card
- Tilt Engage Card
All three cards operate on the Visa network, which means they're accepted pretty much everywhere. Tilt cards also offer cash back on purchases made at select merchants.
If you're interested in applying for a Tilt credit card, you can do so online by visiting Tilt's website and clicking on “Get Started.” You'll first be taken to a prequalification page, where you can submit some basic information to see which Tilt cards you're most likely to qualify for. Just note that you may be required to link a bank account if you don't have an established credit history yet.
