VyStar Credit Union Credit Cards

The security is the worst. I have four cards, and they are horrible. They told me there is a fee to dispute. Now they say there isn't. They have a new fee and were taking $5.00 each quarter, and have been taking it out of my savings. They would not do anything until the $5.00 fee was paid. Trying to deal with any problems, they have a book that they go by that doesn't pertain to your problem, and trying to explain what is going on—forget it—it's not going to happen, and they will repeat the same thing over and over.

No STARS is my rating! The customer service side for Vystar Credit Cards is simply irrational! Do not open an account! They lure you in with a higher interest rate card, promising cash back on groceries and gas, but you have to spend a thousand dollars or more to get $5.00 back.

They have selective hearing, missing payments made, and not recording "refunds" on statements until the following month, payments being missed when you call in to check. "One department says your payment has been processed", it came out of your checking, "the other department states payment not received." A refund is generated, then the bank waits 7-10 days to refund/credit your account. This is poor banking. If I had a chance to give a "zero" for rating, I would! I opened this card informed I had the lowest interest rate, it wasn't!

Using vystar for 11 years.Had fraudulent activity on my debit card.They refused to put the lost $ back into my account.Now I bank at Navy Federal.

Love VYSTAR credit union very convenient and everyone is always friendly also close to where I live and they are coming up all over

Mr Wesley Hurlock helped me to get a new debit card that had been compromised and invited me to apply for the VyStar charge card. We did apply and he quickly got everything taking care of. He was very nice and very professional. I appreciate him and your bank.

sometimes vystar takes a long time before they show to credit b that you paid out the bal or paid way down on the acct causing the credit b to lower your score

I like using Vystar for my loans and second banking account. They always seem to have the best interests
Rates on my loans.Their format on their online app could be alot more friendly but its all there just takes some patience to find what your looking for.

I have been a member for several years but have not needed personal assistance inside the bank. However, recently my x daughter in law stole my phone which had bank info etc. She withdrew money from my account and cash advanced my credit cards.
I went into my branch, Callahan, FL. and spoke with Ms. Nefertiti Webb. She was so very patient and understanding listening to my story, I felt like I was speaking to my own family member. She knew exactly what to do to keep my accounts secure while explaining every step she was taking to keep my accounts secure. At the end of the process she looked at me with a smile and said,
"She won't get anymore of your money
Mr. Emerson, I promise".
I felt like she'd lifted a heavy burden off my shoulders. She is one sincere, caring and customer oriented employee. Because of her I will never bank anywhere else. I wish that I could reward her somehow for going above and beyond the call of duty. I figured that writing about her may give her the recognition she deserves.

To start with Vystar has awful customer service. Their only goal is to blame their faults on the customer. After their update for their online banking there have been a few issue we’ve been able to work past, until now. Since their update there was a clerical error with the credit card payment platform so despite me making my monthly payments their records show them not receiving them. At the time of payment it would show credited until days later when it would kick back. This went on for three months before I was notified after them causing negative credit remarks.
