Glacier Bank Mortgage Rates

Glacier Bank seems to be a decent bank. One of their branches, First Community Bank, is a disappointing addition and detracts from Glacier Bank's overall reputation. First Community Bank of Layton is difficult to work with and seeking help from management is even worse. It appears that you receive better assistance from lower-level employees, as the higher you go, the less professional and helpful the management becomes.

It's not the fault of the call center, but it provides no assistance in gaining online access. I have to visit the bank in person and prove my identity, even though my driver's license, birth date, mother's maiden name, address, and account number should be sufficient. My wife was able to obtain her access, but she was informed that it would take three days to activate her login ability. It seems unreasonable that it takes three days to access your financial information at what should be a professional bank. This is just another example of the bank's lack of responsiveness to its customers.

I have now closed all of my deposit accounts with First Community Bank of Layton. I am amazed at the difference in the response I receive from Bank of Utah compared to FCB. It seems like Bank of Utah values its customers and provides better service, while FCB, in comparison, offers inferior customer service and displays complete indifference.
