I had a truly wonderful experience at the Trustco Bank in Northvale when there was an issue with my bonus promotion. I received telephone calls and feedback from Maria at the bank and from Nour, the branch manager. My problem was resolved due to their efforts and attention to my issue. I commend them both for their professionalism.

Hi, my name is Patti Shaw. The branch manager was so nice to me. I am 77 and do not know anything about technology. He took so much time with me. He went above and beyond what he had to do. I needed so much done, and he got me through it all. His name is Derek Cipolla. All the employees there have treated me just as well as if I had a lot of money instead of just Social Security. I could not ask for more. I highly recommend this bank to anyone.

This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. It's like having to get permission from them if you want your own money, and they constantly freeze your account. Don't bank here, as they are suck. Any other bank would be better.

Probably the worst bank I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Customer service is nonexistent after opening any accounts with them. Information regarding terms and fees is often misleading. I visited numerous branches in Orlando, and they are deserted for a reason. I was told by customer service that I had to use other banks' apps to manage external transfers; theirs won't let you.

My computer was hacked. I went to Trustco Bank in Glenmont, and Miss Patel helped me a great deal with my accounts. She was very pleasant and is still working with me to keep them protected. I really appreciate all the staff there.

Hello, I just asked to speak to a manager. I do know the drill; we've been with Trustco Bank for many years. I needed to transfer some large amount from my checking account to my Home Equity Loan. Since I couldn't go into the branch to do this, I called and spoke to Omar Pancham from Trustco Bank, 320 State St, Schenectady, NY 12305, US. Omar was extremely helpful. That is why we've been with Trustco Bank for many years. Our East Greenbush branch is great. In the old days, we did have Jaquelin, Joseph, and many others; a bank manager everyone at Trustco was and is extremely helpful. Yes indeed, sometimes you may have a bad day, which is understandable, but if you have more than one bad day then it may become a problem, and communication is number one.

Both my parents passed away, and my brother was the beneficiary of an account. This has been a very difficult time for all of us. The Nyack NY Trust Co. played games with my brother all week. It was an account initiated out of state by my parents. Trustco Nyack used every excuse possible to deter the withdrawal. It was his money.
Long story short, he went down to Florida and got his money within 24 hours. The Trust Co. in Nyack, NY, held his money hostage for over a week and gave him the runaround daily. We all planned on opening an account at this bank, not just with these funds, but with two other much more significant amounts of money. We will never bank with Trust Co./Truist Bank. Never. Beware and shame on you.

Terrible customer service, especially by loan officer Anna Fuller at the Round Lake branch. She is extremely unprofessional. Customer service is based out of Florida, and they don't seem to care either. One individual caused so many problems for myself, my husband, and our disabled daughter.

They are the worse bank I've ever dealt with down right horrible and for the bank manager Anna she has absolutely no idea what's she's doing had a payment come in for four hundred there was over 2000 in the account and it was sent back when I went to the branch to see what happened and this was the 2nd time it had happened Anna nor the other staff had no answers account closed would never bank there called their main office and they were useless too

After going to two other banks and being faced with rude individuals, I went to the Venice office and met a very nice gentleman by the name of Mark Cooper. I needed to get a loan and was not sure if I would ever be able to do so. Mark was incredibly patient and considerate. He calmly worked with me and treated me as though I were his own mother. Because of him, I opened up both a checking and savings account at Trustco Bank. The people at the front desk were also very nice. It was a pleasure to go there.

These individuals deserve no stars. They took my income tax check and kept the funds. I received a call on February 9, 2022, that my relationship was being terminated effective March 31, 2022. They falsely claimed they did not receive my income tax check. I discovered they took my income tax check and distributed the funds without my permission. The branch manager who called me on February 9, 2022, no longer works for them. Stay away from them; they are very dishonest. I only went to this bank out of loyalty to an employer who was let go from my previous bank. Stay away; you have been warned. They are so desperate for money that they take it from their customers. They should go out of business and stop taking money from their customers.

I had been a customer of Trustco for years. They held my mortage from 2015 to 2022. I kept savings and checking accounts with them. Had some rough spots, but they we generally OK. Moved to Florida, where I am building a home. They told me I could finance 80% at a good rate. I sent in the application fee of $374 based on that. When I received my letter, they only offer to finance 60% of the purchase. I was told my application would be refunded, but a few days later I was told no refund was forthcoming. I mailed a complaint letter to a VP in Schenectady, no response. I sent an email to another VP, no response. I would caution anyone NOT to do business with this bank. I would have been OK with a "no", as long as they responded. They have no regard for customer satisfaction, or doing what they said they would do. I have never been ignored like this, and consider it a complete disregard for their reputation here in Florida. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

This is the worst bank ever! The stole 40k from my deceased father with no explanation. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how they are legally able to do this. Their head of legal Camilla is a Joke. She has no idea what she is doing and has to constantly seek outside legal counsel because she has no experience in fraud or investigations. The dean road branch manager Gil who I initially started working with will not return my calls or emails and has directed all questions, comments and concerns to be addressed to Camilla. Well guess what? Camilla has done the same but is now directing me back to Gil. All I’m getting is the run around and the bank gets to keep 40k that does not belong to them. Be aware of this deceitfulcompany! If anyone has gone through similar experiences please feel free to reach out.
