Frontwave Credit Union

I have experienced several instances where Frontwave (Yucca Valley) has added unexpected fees and charges to my auto loan. Despite spending considerable time on the phone and providing all necessary documentation, my concerns have not been resolved. I have also visited the branch to discuss this with a manager and made multiple calls, but I have been transferred between representatives without a solution. The representatives with whom I interacted on two separate occasions did not address my concerns effectively and were unhelpful and discourteous.

10-year member. Closing my account today. They are the worst. Now they are charging for checking! They have the worst policies, hidden fees, and rude employees. No one cares. Well, now I don't care either. Any credit union is better!

15-year member. Worst Credit Union around. I got a better rate for my vehicle going through a dealership; Frontwave wanted a 17% APR. I got 6%.

Frontwave is operated like crap.

Worst bank to bank with! They do not care about you. They will charge random fees and not care about your situation. I have never had any bank charge me like this before. Absolutely ridiculous.

I've been with this bank since 2013, but today I am closing my account. I received a check refund for an auto policy that I canceled in the amount of $4.73, which I submitted through the app. They took the money back out because the auto insurance wouldn't clear the check, which is understandable. However, they also took a $15.00 processing fee from my account on top of the $4.73 I deposited. When I called to try to figure things out, they told me that it's just how they do things. So basically, I'm being penalized for an insurance company not clearing a check for $4.73. I don't appreciate this credit union stealing $15 from me for things that aren't even in my control. They refused to refund the processing fee when I called.

They reported me 30 days late due to their error and won’t fix it. They are costing me perfect credit because they don’t want to admit that their online banking system reports incorrect information. I’ve contacted their Call Center and Lending Department, written letters, everything and they refuse to take ownership. Hours of my time and they won’t fix their mistake. Don’t believe the false advertising. Worst part is I used to work here so I know how bad their systems are. Avoid at all costs!

Frontwave is ver helpful and professional. They give the best interest rates. Also helpful when it comes to home loans and auto loans

I would never recommend this bank to any1 whatsoever. If u have any type of problem on a weekend u can't speak with anybody to resolve the problem. No 24hr assistance has gota b 1 of the dumbest services not to have. Get with the program people!!!!

I recently submitted a auto loan application and was approve. Loan specialist called me and told me I need to have a checking account with the credit union no problem. So I completed the application and then was told o was denied because I had something negative on Chex system but they couldn't see what was negative. They gave me a number to call and get my report. So I call got my report and there is nothing on my report that's negative. I called them back sent in the report and was told again I got denied but my report shows nothing negative. I was told again call Chex system, so I did that again spoke with the Chex system rep we went line item for line item nothing negative. I feel like they are not trying to help as I am confused. How can fix something but there is nothing to fix. So I would recommend stay away worse experience from a credit union.

We have been with this credit union for nearly 10 years. We recently applied for a mortgage. We were told it would take 30 days to close the loan when we applied. We also applied with 2 other banks. Each promised a 30-day closing.

After we signed the application, we were then told it would take 60 days. If this isn't a bait-and-switch scenario, I don't know what is.

While we made every effort to get them the supporting documents and information as quickly as possible, they did not behave in kind. Communication was slow, processing was slow and requests to our employers for verification were unnecessarily delayed.

We were promised that we would be able to sign the documents at a certain date and time. We arranged for time off with our employers and moved around other appointments in our schedule. Next week, we're on vacation. Now they are back-peddling and breaking another promise telling us we may not be able to sign tomorrow.

So, if you decide to apply for a loan with this company, know that they will not tell you the truth when it comes to closing times, they will not go out of their way to make it up to you, in fact, they will ignore your emails and phone calls when you try to get any type of resolution.

This is the only credit union I've ever dealt with that seems like it is a for-profit business. I've been a member for 10 years. At this point I refuse to do business with them, and encourage everyone to not join, or to find a new bank. They are average on most days. When it counts, they are either incompetent, disrespectful, untrustworthy, or all 3 at once. Bank somewhere else! Save your time and money. It's always a nightmare to do things that have been so simple at other banks.

Straightforward and friendly auto loan. Easily arranged, best rate. I recommend the Frontwave credit union that used to be Pacific Marine credit union

The company is very military friendly and helps work with scheduled payments and is always willing to help payment progress especially with calling at good times.

Frontwave was fast and easy to apply for a loan and I got approved in about 15 minutes with no credit. They are a good bank and I’ll stay with them for a while.

Worst bank I've ever dealt with. Don't get a car loan through this bank if you ever want the title. I paid off a car that I purchased through a private seller 6 weeks ago and still don't have the title! Everytime I call I get nothing but lies and excuses. The first time they claimed it was lost in the mail, and the 2nd time I called they lied to me twice during the same phone call. They first claimed it was sent to a car dealership 35 minutes away from my house, and then they claim there's an issue with the title. Total bull! I can't register my vehicle without the title. I bought a car and cant even drive it.
