Left me 2,000 miles from home stranded because they locked my card even after I called a week before letting them know I would be traveling. Had to call multiple times before being told I would have to wait 25 hours for my card to be unlocked. Angry doesn't even describe how I felt!

I have a very strong suspicion that First Financial Bank is holding my payments until the day after the due date so they can charge late fees. For many years, I have sent in my credit card bill a week before the due date, but suddenly this past year, I have accrued multiple late fees with my check being processed one day after the due date. I am suspecting that there is some type of financial fraud occurring in the hopes that customers will not contest these late fees. One time, I sent my check in two and a half weeks early, and it was processed in three days. So, they will cash the check if they receive it early, but delay processing if it's a couple of days before the due date.

Worst credit card ever! You pay and pay and overpay, and still, the balance hardly decreases. It should be illegal and featured on the show "American Greed". Eighteen-year-olds beware. It was the worst mistake ever getting this as my very first credit card. I can't wait to save enough money to completely pay it off and never worry about it again. I'm sure I've paid for it three times over, but the fees are ridiculous and the interest rates increase like crazy.

If I could give this card zero stars, I would! Very high interest rates, additional payments made towards the principal are applied to the following month's payment, so they take their interest from it first, which is insane. Every month, right before my payment is due, somehow my account gets locked out. Interesting, huh? Just a way to collect late fees, I feel.

I had a great experience with one of the customer service representatives! I believe his name was Maurice. He was beyond polite and understanding. I actually got the chance to explain my situation to a customer service rep without being treated like a problem. He was absolutely incredible and I hope anyone else who calls customer service gets to interact with him!

This is by far the worst scamming card I've ever had in my life. The only reason I had this card was due to my mother signing me up for it when I was 18. 8 years later and I'm still paying for it. They gave me the worst interest rate that doesn't do anything but out you in debt. I called to get my interest lowered and I was put under a"hardship plan" where they would set a payment for me and lower my interest rate for 6mo. Which sounds great right? Nope. They set up my monthly payment just half of what my interest and capital would cover. So I'm actually only paying half the amount of what I should be paying. BE SMART. STAY AWAY FORM THIS CARD.

I have had this line of credit for 20 years. Worst company. Terrible interest rates. I finally paid off a very large balance and it went to collections over a $55 annual fee that they charge to keep the account open. No rewards or benefits at all. I cannot recommend against this card enough. It's make my financial life terrible for many years and it won't ever stop. There is nothing good I can say about this card or this company.

This is an awful card. Ridiculous interest rate. Stay far away from it. This company is a bunch of crooks. 34% interest rate? How do they sleep at night? Only reason I keep it is because it’s my first card I ever got and I want to keep my credit history. They totally take advantage of people with their absurd interest rates. I would rate 0 stars if it let me. I hate this card and this company. Absolutely terrible. Do not get this card. Worst credit card ever. ??

They are disgustingly predatory. They targeted me when I was 18, and 15 years later I cannot wait to leave this company. Of course they gave me an extremely high credit limit, so I was dumb and I put a lot of expenses on it when I was younger. I make my payments on time every month, but because I carry a balance my interest rate is extremely high - currently 34.5%! How is that legal?!?! I begged to get my interest lowered when I was a broke college grad and they said there was nothing they could do. Stay away from this company. If you have no other options, DON'T carry a balance!!!!

Predatory lender to college students. I can't believe they're still around. Years ago I had their credit card and racked up debt through them instead of through loans. There came a point where I swapped my checking account to a different bank. I was autodrafting to pay 1fbusa. I realized that my recent payment wouldn't go through due to swapping checking accounts and I called customer service and told them the issue. Do you know what their response was? "Wait 9 days and call us back". Weird, but I was an ignorant college student and did as they suggested. Guess what happened at 9 days? Delinquent payment. They proceeded to quadruple my interest rate to an amount that for some reason isn't criminal. I called, told them the story, and they offered to reduce the interest to somewhere in b/w. I don't know how that practice isn't criminal. It may actually have been illegal if I had got it all in writing and went to a lawyer. TLDR? This is a predatory bank that commits usury. If you're looking for a credit card for a college student, stay away.

DONT DO IT! Had the card for years but we cut up. Fees are outrageous, and the complete lack of technology. I can't even make a payment online or by phone after 5pm, what year is this. Don't get stuck with this card, there are much better options out there. You will be stuck with this and you will regret it.
