For a select group of people, this company is ideal. $28/month is phenomenal! I have a 22-year-old Saturn that I occasionally drive, putting no more than 2000 miles on it per year. I mostly take public transportation, walk, or bike for my travel or shopping needs. All I want is minimal coverage. If it were to get into a crash, I wouldn't care much about what happens to the Saturn because it's not highly valuable to me. I would just go to the FB marketplace and buy another $2000 car.

Certainly does NOT cover BRAND NEW vehicles. They also make filing a claim traumatic. Took 2 months to get my vehicle fixed after it was hit. Ridiculousness. WORST COMPANY FOR INSURANCE EVER!

I had a car insurance policy with this company for a brief time; I tried to make changes to it, but everything had to be done via text. I decided to go with another company for coverage, so they canceled my policy since I didn't pay it, which is expected (I'm only covered for the time period I pay for). They then reported the last month's bill to a collection agency. They are backed by Liberty Mutual, who is notorious for doing this - I have already filed my complaint against them with the IL Department of Insurance and am just waiting to hear back. I'll also be filing one with the Attorney General of my state. These people picked the wrong individual because my decision to do business is with whom I choose, and they are not going to make me pay a premium since I didn't renew with them.

I haven't been able to find any cheaper insurance. The only issue I had was when I wanted to change my due date; the person whom I spoke to on the phone said they could only make it later in the month, not earlier.

I've read in these reviews that people can't get ahold of a real person and they don't know when their bill is due, but I haven't had any problems with either.

Got a quote that was a better price than my current insurance and tried to purchase it. They took my money but reported a "technical error," and my account was empty with no policy. I attempted to contact customer support, but their "support" consists of AI chatbots with no option to call or speak to an actual person. I'm assuming my money has been stolen at this point as they refuse to provide any sort of update or confirmation about whether I will receive my money back. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and anybody else I can get a hold of. They are fraudulent! Avoid!

Certainly Insurance Company is a scam. Avoid at all costs. The low price involved with their premiums means that they're taking money away from you and never paying any claims. They would rather give you a hard time when reviewing a claim and avoid paying anything to their clients. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and The Department of Insurance.

I would not recommend this company at all! I just wanted to upgrade my insurance and they made me cancel my current policy to make any changes then when I went back to get a new policy, they said I was not able to get it at all and the rates have changed.

This company is absolutely useless in helping their customers.
If you plan to change your last name, the will require you to cancel your policy and sign up with a NEW EMAIL and not be able to guarantee you'll have the same rate.
If you move states, you will not be able to have your insurance card and policy in your new state. I moved from Wisconsin to Illinois. I changed my address with them but come to find out that just cause my address says Illinois, everything else says Wisconsin. Illinois couldn't verify I had insurance because of that and they suspended my car registration. Even though they can send the info to IL DOT, I still had to pay over 100 to reinstate my insurance despite having insurance.
They cannot change my insurance to say Illinois so this won't happen again. So basically if illinois can't verify my insurance, they will keep suspending my registration and I'll go through this cycle every year paying to unsuspend something that should never have been suspended because they cannot change my state.
Screw certainly and screw liberty mutual because that's the mother company. Take your money elsewhere

Affordable insurance HOWEVER there's is no phone for customer service. Fine use the chat feature but it never works so you have to play email tag. I wanted to upgrade my insurance but I can't do that without cancelling my policy firs, in which I'm also not guaranteed to pay what I paid before cancelling if I choose not to change. Lastly they sent me a bill due after my card expired from Liberty Mutual but they didn't have me in their system. It's like a third party insurance. Why not email me doesn't make sense.

I switched companies for a better rate and already a horrible experience my car window got hit by a rock and needed replacement 3day after getting coverage and I got investigated like a criminal for making my claim and had to show proof that this happened on the 17th of Oct like I said when I did my claim. Not to mention getting the run around between agents and still can't get my window fixed. I have reached out to Ruth mitzel the person who was handling my claim and she has not responded and pretty must made it seem like she didn't care and didn't believe me. I stretched to them how I needed it done asap do to me starting a new job and I wouldn't be able to just meet someone outside just whenever as well the first rep setup already setup the appointment with safelite that couldn't be completed because the rep and adjuster wouldn't verify my coverage so that I could have my window fixed. It's been 3 day and everyday something new pops up that they need to verify and I'm still waiting for my Window to ve fixed. I didn't know it was a crime to have an accident I thought that's what Insurance was for. I guess I got what I paid for huh smh definitely going to be switching as soon as I can!!!

This "company" is some offshoot of Liberty Mutual in which there's zero customer service. There's a "Chat" function that never works. There's no way to see when your next payment will be deducted nor is there any way to find a payment schedule. One six month policy and I'm out. Would not recommend at all.

So far so good. This seems like something of an experiment by Liberty Mutual in offering an online only, chatbot centric, minimalist insurance product. No phone support and not even any ability to make changes to an existing policy without canceling it first, among other website quirks. I have chatted and emailed with them though and found them relatively responsive. It was by far the cheapest auto policy available in my area.

We should put in a lawsuit these people are horrible they cancelled my insurance and I call the said it was liberty mutual and they couldn’t find me in there system

Terrible, my sister has acct. Has been needing to chat with representative and site has been responding can't connect to representative....has important timely issue that needs addressed and can't get no response at all.
