They worked with me, but the main lady who works there was very rude when she had to do her job. Although, she's really friendly and nice if you flirt with her. Haha.

Refuse to remove negative actions from credit report. They have repeatedly hung up on me when I've tried to explain that the bill was paid three years ago by insurance.

They refuse to remove negative information from an account from 7 years ago. Ability Recovery Services is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I wish I could give negative stars; the individuals employed at Ability Recovery are the rudest representatives. I called to inform them that I paid my creditor directly, and the female representative was rude and disrespectful. I am glad I will not have to deal with this company again. They need customer service classes.

I wish negative stars was a thing. After receiving a notification about a collection on my credit report, I contacted Ability And Recovery Service LLC to inquire why I supposedly owed $2661 and what it was for. Was told by a rude lady that I would get a statement in the mail. I looked over my insurance coverage and also my visits at my hospital. I have no visits that day and my insurance is $50 for an ambulance ride. After 30 days I contacted them again, they asked my name and then gave me the incorrect DOB. After I told her that’s not my DOB she started talking and I tried to speak as the lady was talking over me and then said it’s in the mail then hung up. I called the original creditor to try to get info about the debt and the gentleman stated they had no record of me using their service. I then asked the gentleman what I needed to do now and he said I needed to contact the collection agency and let them know they have the wrong person. I then called ARS again and again was hung up on. I called today and explained the situation and he asked for my account number and I said I don’t know I have never received any communication from you guys. He then asked for my name. I told him and then he asked for my DOB (being that they gave me the wrong DOB in the past) I refused. He thing said have a good day and hung. This place is a joke. They want people to pay “debts” but are targeting people who from the reviews I’ve read don’t have it. Maybe better costumer service would get you guys further in your attempts to collect from people.

My account was pinned on this collection account. The original service or this company needs to validate the claim. I canceled this debt on the 3rd day the school information was outdated and no use to me . Maybe their is a list in regards to the original owner.

Less than zero, cannot communicate with them they are not qualified to communicate with the public. Cannot tell them anything they know everything. Credit is affected because they draw names out of the hat at random and see if it sticks. Denying to all 3 credit bureaus with disputes. Already done 3 times already. Can't seem to convince them I never have lived in the location or used the medical entity, as I live across the country. Won't give up or fall for this. Just wondering how many more people have been affected by this.

I'm a Veteran and the VA paid for medical services that I supposedly never paid for. By law if the VA pays for any part of the bill that means it is Paid In Full and the Veteran cannot be charged for anything else. Pretty much it would be considered double dipping. That is what this company is trying to collect me and they started when the charges are from 2019. The company they're representing is a money hungry, could careless abouts their patience, abd sneak into your credit without warning kinda business and these collections are beyond annoying and false.
