Called Affirm Customer Service to try and change four payment due dates to avoid "late payments." I usually receive my retirement check after the 15th of each month, so in order to avoid being late on my payments, I requested to have these due dates adjusted.
I was very fortunate to have Kevin J. answer my call. I explained my request to adjust payment due dates, and he took the time, with great patience, worked with me to adjust my payment dates as I requested. He was a perfect gentleman, polite, very patient, and understanding. He also kept checking back with me (while I was "on hold") to let me know he was still working to fix my problem.
And he did!!! My dates were adjusted to avoid having late payments!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kevin!
You are a great leadership candidate!! I wish you great success in the future.
From a Very Satisfied Customer,

When I tried to cancel the cards, which you are typically able to do, the app stated it could not due to the merchant still processing the order, which can take a few days. I called to try to get this addressed with Affirm customer service and was met with a standard response: they cannot void or cancel the loans as the merchant is still processing the order, which can take up to 3 weeks, and it will be 7-10 days to refund me the $476 they charged to my card as a down payment. This means they get an interest-free loan for almost 30 days while I get stuck with a bill for an item I don't have. I have called multiple times to get this resolved and received the same response, even when escalating to a manager, who echoed the same sentiments. I told them that I got written confirmation from a representative at Menards saying the transactions/order did not go through and that the funds were released immediately back to the card issuer, which could take a couple of days to process. I offered to provide this, but their customer service refused to accept it and said if that is true, then the loan will auto void in 3 to 5 business days, if not 21 days. This has been upsetting, as usually, they are pretty good at resolving issues, but it seems due to the amount, they want to hold my money hostage for a month. Use at your own risk.
