Run from the scam at America’s Worst. I have 800+ credit and got an auto loan for three months before I paid off the entire balance. They said my insurance deductible was higher than their requirement. They added a $4,615 charge to my balance that they would not remove even though I paid off the entire balance 3 months after taking out the loan. Now I have to sue them. I gave them 1 star because 0 stars is not an option.

Interest rates are great! Mobile app and service are WAY behind the times and SLOW! I understand that they are in the process of updating their systems.

The branch staff is friendly enough. However, their Card Services Division is terrible. I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card. They kept denying the dispute without doing their due diligence. I finally got it resolved by telling a manager that they were representing the fraudulent business instead of me, their customer. They do everything in their power to keep from doing their job: representing their customers. I know I am not the only one this has happened to. I am personally aware of another customer of theirs who just accepted their decision and lost her money. I only knew how to fight them because I used to work in card services. Shame on them!

Always willing to help and locate best rates. Friendly staff and are always accommodating. Would recommend them to my family and friends.

My first interaction with AFCL was very poor. Customer service was awful. So, no one reached out to me once my loan was due on July 11th. They sent me paperwork which I followed with very ambiguous instructions only to find that my payment was late. Lucklly I am an honest person so I cnotacted them to pay my loan only to speak with a very rude gentleman who I could barely understand (American but obviously not someone interested in retaining their job) , and I told him that I wanted to set up my auto pay. He told me my payment was late, and I told him I was expecting someone to reach out to me and actually make contact. He ignored this and only asked about payment. I made payment. As soon as docs were signed he hung up. I didn't get an opportunty to ask any questions. I will never get a loan from AFCL again.

They worked great with me and my wife. Neither one of us had a car credit and they approved us and had a great interest rate for us

After 3 visits to 2 separate branches to fix a very simple issue, America’s First FCU has yet to offer a solution. 2 payments have been “missed” as a result of their incompetence and my credit has been negatively impacted because of their unprofessional and ridiculous systems. I have not missed a payment in a decade on anything and these 2 missed payments for this company have taken my credit from 740 to 680. Between 3 branch employees and one 30 minute conversation with tech support, I still have no online banking and can only pay in person at a branch. This is problematic as I travel all the time and rarely find myself in an area where AFFCU has a branch. Again, no credit repair or solutions offered as of yet. Avoid this travesty at all cost by banking with a real bank.

I couldn’t ask for a better trade line on my account, I’m honored to have this bank on credit report. Credit Unions are the mom and pop of banks and everyone should use them more. 100 out of 100 satisfactory

Thanks wouldn’t recommend them unless you like bad attitudes, your money taken without approval, and no conflict resolution. The customer is always wrong in their eyes.

America's First is a great credit union so far!!!! The branches just need to answer their branches' phone because I've called several different ones and got the same thing....no answer!!!!!!

I have been with America's 1st for the past 30 years. For the last 4 years I would not recommend this bank for anyone. The Attitude and care for the customers have definitely changed. Now I see why the rating has dropped to 2.5 star. Very disappointed in them.

Horrible Horrible Bank. They don't care about their customers at all. They are a stone age bank. Hold your deposits for 7 days to create problems. I cant wait to get away from them after 17 years. Accounts are constantly hacked they dont care

While on hospice, with only days to live, America's First allowed almost 500.00 to be stolen from my mother’s account. It was taken by a nonexistent company. The only information they had was her debit card number. We saw the 2 thefts on her statement, called the branch and disputed the stolen withdrawals. 1 theft was fixed but, over 350.00 was not corrected.
My mother died a few day later. Once I received her death certificate, I went to the credit union to close the account. While handling the paperwork, I pointed out that they had not corrected 1 of disputed charges. I found out America's First had lost the dispute claim. They are now refusing to reimburse the stolen funds.
Summary: America's First allowed money to be stolen by a fake company.
They did not complete the dispute claim.
They then LOST the dispute claim.
They are now refusing to reimburse the stolen funds.
I requested to speak with a manager, I was told someone would call me later, another lie.
At no point, have they offered an apology for their negligence or, for the distress they caused a dying woman and her grieving daughter. You might as well keep your funds in a standard bank. America’s First does not protect your money or care for its members.

It's a good card but the customer service is. not the bestie they are only open Monday through Friday for limited hours. I'm not positive what they are but I think 8-5
