HORRIBLE, deceptive financing, statements are hard to read, fees and interest are not clear - awful.

I have been emailing them for months now to place my account on SCRA status. They are currently not honoring the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA), which is illegal. If you are a military member, avoid this or be prepared to submit legal documentation. I am ensuring to document this everywhere, including legally.

You will literally never pay off your loan with this company. Run. Go anywhere else. I was in the middle of a busy move and didn't read reviews first. If I had, I never would have gone through with this. Every negative review about this company is true! Be careful dealing with Aqua.

If I could give a zero as a review, I would. Do not do business with this company! They will rob you and lie to you about the service, and then when something is wrong or broken, they will try to charge you another $1,000 to fix it!

I am so very frustrated and appalled by the incompetence and almost borderline scammer-like behavior I have experienced with Aqua Finance. In October 2024, we sold our house and paid off our loan. We had payments auto-drafted from our account monthly. In the midst of paying off our loan, an automatic payment was sent to the company. We moved, obviously. During the transition between changing addresses, Aqua Finance indicated they sent a check to our old address. We had our mail forwarded, and albeit sometimes it doesn't work as we intended, I'll give them that pass. Flash forward 8 months later - I am STILL fighting with this company to get our overpayment refunded. No one at Aqua Finance contradicts or denies that we are owed an overpayment. Of the last 10 representatives we have spoken to, each one has confirmed we overpaid the account by a few dollars shy of $1,000. They have to escalate the calls to a department that needs to review our request and send us a check. The last conversation with a representative indicated a check was mailed to us on April 24th, 2025. I have not received a check from them. The representative indicates it can take up to 8 weeks to receive a check, and it has only been 5 weeks since the check was sent. Basically, be patient. Unbelievable. Take care, consumers - please make sure you do not overpay even a cent to this finance company. They are wonderful about taking your payment on time - to the day, but if you overpay them, you have to wait 8 months (so far) to get a check mailed to you. Of course, that's if one was even mailed. I don't have a lot of trust here, and I know I will never deal with this company again.

BIG GIANT NO! Do not use this company. They are just shy of a scam. Customer service is non-existent when you have a question or problem and require help. This company reported a late payment in error, causing my credit score to drop by 30 points while I am in the middle of a home refinance. It was an error on their part and although they admit it was a clerical error, they refuse to remove it from my credit report, which is halting my refinance. I have never had one late payment to them in 2 years. They should not be in business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My car loan from State Farm was transferred to Aqua Finance. I received my first statement, and it shows a $50 fee, and my monthly payment is $50 higher. When someone sees the total amount due, you think you need to pay the amount shown, but in this case, it is not true. I called them, and they explained I can still pay my normal monthly payment, but the extra $50 will go towards the principal. I have no idea if my interest rate is the same as my rate with State Farm. I don't know if I owe the same balance as I did with State Farm or if there have been extra fees added on. I haven't received any information. I tried to create an account online, but they don't recognize my account number that they gave me. Calling them provides no answers, and the guy I spoke to said he would send me an email with all the information, but I didn't receive anything. I would stay away from this company if you can.

My loan transferred to AquaFinance from State Farm. I was dreading it, but Rebecca from the title department was amazing! She changed my mind, went the extra mile for me, and I'm happy my loan moved to them.

They have not reported that I closed the account in October and are still trying to charge interest. Stay away from using Aqua Finance for future home builds, as their customer service is all outsourced to India, so you have no one who can actually do anything about your accounts.

Can I give this company zero stars? I have been trying to get them to release a lien on a property for over a week so that I can sell it. There is no balance on the lien; no money owed. I call every day and sometimes multiple times per day, and it's always "You will get an email releasing it within an hour," or "You will receive the release today or tomorrow." They will not allow me to talk with a supervisor, so you see why I want to give them the most negative review that I have ever written for any company. I don't know what my recourse is.

Worst company ever (I wish I could give zero stars).
First, they will say you are approved and then ask you to provide paperwork. After it is provided, they will find more and more excuses instead of just not approving in the first place.
The agents in the office have no idea about the process or what they are talking about.
Don't waste your time.

Do not do business with this company, whatever you do. This is the worst company in the world. Giving them one star is a joke. Oh, I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up with them. I have been paying on a loan for nearly five years. The amount I financed was $10,000 for siding, and as of today, I still owe $8,202.00. I live on social security and have gone without just to pay them. I am in the process of contacting a lawyer. I do not understand how they can do this to people. They are taking your money. Please, if you need to have something financed, go elsewhere. Run in the direction away from them as fast as you can.

Do not use this company; they are crooks. Extra payments go towards interest, and you will never pay off your loan. They have no conscience. They are the worst. They should not exist, and they should be federally investigated with a class-action suit to repay the innocent customers they took advantage of. Zero rating!
