Do not recommend Arien Bowersock at all. Save your time, energy, and money and go somewhere else! When we first reached out to get a quote, she was amazing. We kept getting random quotes throughout the process with good communication. Closing week came and she completely ceased communication with us. We didn't hear anything from her until the day before, letting us know how much we would need to bring to closing. For being a first-time home buyer, this was very nerve-wracking to not hear from her. Extremely unprofessional. The day of closing, The Home Loan Expert company was experiencing a "system outage" (meaning literally all computers were down and they weren't able to plug numbers into the system they use). Computers were back up and running around 2:30-3 pm CT. She and her team took hours to redo the paperwork again and provided us a closing cost of triple what she told us the night before. We were completely blindsided. But we accepted because we wanted to move in on Friday (day of closing). She wired the money too late to the title company, and they were not able to verify if the funds were received or not, due to them and the bank they used closing at 5 pm CT. Our closing was on Friday, and we were not able to close or get the keys on Friday. Not to mention we went back to get the keys on Monday, and Arien hadn't even wired the full amount over to the title company. This made us have to wait an additional few hours. This whole process was a nightmare and I don't wish this upon anyone. Please do not waste your time and money on this company. We closed 2 weeks ago, and they already sold our mortgage loan to a different company as well. The most unprofessional place to ever do business is with Arien Bowersock - The Home Loan Expert.
