I like doing business with Bank of Lake Mills because they are a locally-owned and operated outfit, so they are right up close to their customers, and it shows in the quality of customer service they provide. I've only lived in Lake Mills for a year, but every time I visit my branch, I'm treated as if I've been a customer for twenty years. Super friendly and extremely competent. I was kind of put off, at first, by the fact that it cost $25 to open the account, but overall, that's probably done better for me than getting a 'free' checking account from a giant, faceless national bank.
