I do not recommend applying for any kind of loan through this bank or doing business with them at all. Their website clearly says they offer solar panel installation loans and they are on the EnergySage website list of lenders so I applied online. They did a hard pull of my credit and then called me to say that they don't offer solar loans anymore. I asked if they would remove the inquiry from my credit report and they said no. I will tell everyone I know to never do business with this bank. My FICO scores are 820+ with AGI $500k+. What a stupid hill for them to die on.

HORRIBLE WORST BANK EVER! This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. Rude, slow drive up & window tellers, slow as molasses. Not friendly at all. There are a million other reasons also that I don't have time to go into. The only reason I'm still with them is that I haven't had time to look into another bank but that switch is coming soon. Do yourselves a favor & find another bank if you want to avoid aggravation IMHO..

BankFive is a small community bank chain in southern Mass. Their rates are not that great at $1,000 min in your account to earn a measly 0.05% in interest. Which to be fair is around average but there are better rates out there if you shop around. The branch closest to me is in a shady area. One would think a place people bring and take money from should feel at least somewhat safe. However the staff are all very nice and courteous. The application process is just as easy as anyplace else. Overall, an underwhelming bank and you should look elsewhere for any sort or long term savings.
