What began as a frustrating, unresolved ACH payment issue was turned around by the FVP of Deposit Operations. She was a powerful example of what true customer commitment looks like. She responded and took ownership of my situation, keeping me in the loop throughout. I felt supported, respected, and valued in a moment where frustration and uncertainty could have eroded trust. I would give zero stars if that were possible. This is the worst loan system I have ever experienced. They do not allow principal payments or withdrawals online. To withdraw from the HELOC, you must write a check. To make a principal payment, you have to call or visit a branch. It takes 3 business days to process. Even worse, they require you to make the next interest payment before allowing a principal payment, even if the interest is not yet due. I strongly recommend considering this carefully before taking out a loan with Four Leaf.

Stop!!!!! Don't get a car loan with this Credit union!!!! They put a delinquent mark on my credit... Because I refinanced with another bank because they keep saying my payments were late!! my New bank sent the pay off in Dec 12 2025 and they said they didn't receive it till January 13th 2026! I tried to dispute it and they told me No!!! Run from this credit union and Don't stop! Worst bank I have done Buisness with! Zero Stars

Stop! Do not get any loans with this bank! Once you get a loan with this bank, they make it almost impossible to pay the debt unless you have cash, meaning money in your bank account. Worst and most outdated banking institution ever! It was formerly named Bethpage FCU, but still unsatisfactory. They do not have online payment options, besides a balance transfer to pay your loans. Additionally, the automated line only accepts bank routing and account number information from themselves or another banking institution. You can't even use your debit card on their website, through automated service, or with a live representative. This system is designed to generate late fees for the bank, as well as causing negative marks on your credit due to extremely limited methods of payment options. This bank does not have the best interest of their customers in mind! And if you want to break up your payment as you receive it or desire to pay more frequently, it will not accept less than the actual car note amount. Terrible! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

Went with Bethpage Federal Credit Union because my wife praised them. I liked that all my loans—car, mortgage, home equity—were all in one place. Been with them over 8 years. Since the four-leaf rebranding, I am not happy with them. It takes almost a week for this third-party mortgage company to take money from my checking account. It was so much better before when money was taken directly out of my account. Now I'm getting hit with insufficient fund fees because they are withdrawing the money before another paycheck hits my account. If it wasn't for interest rates being higher, I would go elsewhere. The way things are happening right now is unacceptable. Should have left well enough alone, but that's a corporation for you, stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. When interest rates drop, I'm going elsewhere.

Fourleaf needs to stop falsely claiming that our home and auto insurances have been canceled in an attempt to persuade people to switch to their own insurance. First, you altered my home loan account number and incorrectly stated that my insurance was canceled, which it was not. The issue arose from your changes to my account number, not from anything I did. Furthermore, when my auto insurance was renewed, you erroneously claimed it was canceled. Be honest, stop the deceit and accept responsibility. I have already transferred my checking to another bank after you allowed fraudsters to deplete my account. It took over a week to retrieve my money, whereas other reputable financial institutions prevent such incidents from occurring. Improve your services!

I went through the same problem. I went into the local branch and handed them the form letter and let them know how unhappy I was. The bank is not as it was and I was with BFCU for 20 years. Today I went to pay my mortgage and they couldn't process it with the loan number. They had to deposit it into my savings and pay my mortgage from there. Not Good!

FourLeaf is the worst credit union ever to get a car loan from. I've financed five other cars, and not once have I ever had a problem with payments, but FourLeaf is causing me trouble by stating my payments are late and charging me late payment fees. I go and even pay extra, and I still receive calls about late payments and late fees. I am sick and tired of this and about to go turn this car in because they've even damaged my perfect credit score. If you ever go to get a new car financed and they tell you FourLeaf is the lender, RUN, and I mean it RUN as if your life depends on it.

Every time I call about an issue, they are extremely quick to transfer me to another department, usually one that tells me they can't do anything and to call back. Not to mention their AI that "pre-verifies" me never works, so I have to go through all of that three to four times and talk to three to four people who can't help me. Why don't you train your customer service representatives to actually figure out the problem before transferring me? It's ridiculous, I will be leaving this bank soon.

We were recently approved for a HELOC with FourLeaf, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. The application process was straightforward, and the communication from their team was excellent every step of the way, starting with Margaret Fink and Kristina Gilroy who handled the initial loan application process, then with Lorraine Horsley who we worked with closely on all the documentation that was required, and finally with Juan Araujo and Tiffany Jones who coordinated the closing.
They clearly explained all the terms, kept us informed, answered our questions promptly, and made sure we understood how to access and manage our line of credit. The approval took a little longer than initially promised due to negotiations with the underwriters; however, the rates and terms were very competitive compared to other lenders we considered.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with how easy and transparent the process was. We highly recommend FourLeaf to anyone looking for a hassle-free HELOC experience.

Fourleaf Federal Credit allowed thieves to empty my checking and savings account, leaving me with nothing. Take your money to a credit union that cares about you. I warned Fourleaf and begged them not to allow several fraudulent charges by one fake company in my pending transactions, yet they processed them all anyway, leaving me unable to pay my bills. When it was BFCU, they would call you if they saw suspicious activity. Not Fourleaf; they simply give the criminals your money. Jovia employs precautionary security measures, which is where I am now. Save yourself the stress and worry, and get away from Fourleaf. They are the worst.
