I had multiple policy's with this joke of a company. My premiums were pretty cheap when I 1st signed up with them. Within a year my premiums jumped about $5,200 between home and auto with NO CLAIMS made. Last year we had a hail storm that hit our home so I made a claim. The estimate was about 48k and they only paid 20k. Their response was that I only had til January 9th to get it done... ITS WINTER. Nobody was going to do the work and 2nd even if someone did do it, the shingles adhesive properties wouldn't stick in such cold weather. I think this joke of a company will be out if business soon. BEWARE

Received a quote for home, auto, and umbrella policies from our agent. The branch was not the cheapest, but it was recommended by the agent. The total monthly charge was to be $534. Twenty-four hours later, we saw two charges to our checking account totaling over $984.00! We called our agent right away and asked for an explanation. After speaking with Branch, the only explanation he got from them is that another underwriter looked at the policy and 'readjusted' it. I think this is called bait and switch.

I had an auto accident on the 10th of the month. It took Branch until the 24th to pick up my car from the towing company to send it to a repair facility. The accident happened 45 miles from home, but they sent my car to a facility 85 miles from my home. !??? Very little communication occurred during this entire process. It was like pulling teeth to get any information regarding the disposition of my car. I still have not gotten my car back.

Beware of this company; they will offer you a low introductory rate and double it the following year. Most people won't notice since it's paid by their mortgage company. It's a shady and disgusting business practice.

Extreme bait and switch and deaf ears. When we first purchased our home, insurance was around $2,500. The first renewal a year later was over $6,000! When we canceled, signing the proper paperwork with my signature and the representative's, they did not cancel it and charged us the $6,000. Our new agent sent them the declaration of the new policy, and I also sent them the cancellation document that they signed. They sent me an email stating the official cancellation date was in November 2024. We canceled it back in April 2024. They disregarded the forms my new agent sent and the form I sent with their signature. They said NOTHING about the refund of any sort. I think I will seek legal help at this point.

Bait and switch. They were our insurance when we bought our home in Kentucky. They canceled our insurance after the fact because they issued it before coming to the property. The reasons given were unsatisfactory. We were very worried we would have to resort to forced insurance, but State Farm picked us up after viewing the property and expressed no concerns. Yes, it's a 100-year-old home, but it's as up-to-date as one could want for its age.

1.5 years ago, I signed up for Branch Car Insurance. Initially, for six months it was $1,900; for the second six months, it jumped to $2,500. Last week, I was charged $3,200. What on earth is going on here? This is the worst car insurance ever.

I was completely taken aback by the poor service and customer relations of the Branch Home Insurance employees. They have been dishonest and unprofessional. Kat Hervey was assigned to address our roofing issue, but I haven't been able to speak with her for over two weeks.

Branch,
Your company sent an unlicensed contractor to my home who caused damage and voided warranties on my equipment. He claimed to be Enphase Certified, Generac Certified, an electrician, and HVAC certified. Strike Check said this wouldn't happen, which is the company Branch subcontracted this work out to.
The field adjuster arrived wearing Crocs and did not have the necessary equipment to climb the roof to perform his inspection as required. Furthermore, he held what he thought was a secret meeting in my front yard with the unlicensed contractor.
Where do we go from here? I have filed a TDI complaint regarding the above issues.
The final icing on the cake is that I caught all of this on 4K video with audio. It is even on YouTube at this very moment. At least a dozen laws were broken during this event. But wait, there's more with the second contractor. Please give me a call.
I think some explanation is in order, and I would like to know when we are going to get this claim approved so repairs can start.

"I can't believe the level of incompetence and lack of accountability displayed by this car insurance company. After my car was involved in an accident, they initially sent a check to the body shop for repairs. However, due to another unfortunate accident that occurred afterward, they withdrew the money they had already sent.
Their reasoning? They claim that the subsequent accident resulted in my car being declared a total loss, so they don't see the need to honor the initial check they sent for repairs. This is absolutely ridiculous! Just because there was a second accident doesn't negate the fact that my car was damaged in the first place and needed repairs.
What's even more frustrating is their complete lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to negotiate. I've tried reaching out multiple times to discuss the situation and find a resolution, but they seem to be avoiding me and brushing off my concerns.
Adding insult to injury, I'm still expected to pay my car insurance premiums on a vehicle that's now undriveable. It's absurd that I'm being required to continue paying for insurance on a car that I can't even use due to the damages from the subsequent incident.
It's clear that this insurance company cares more about protecting their bottom line than actually helping their customers. Their actions have left me feeling unsupported, frustrated, and out of pocket for repairs that my car desperately needed.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this insurance company to look elsewhere. Their lack of integrity and poor customer service make them a company that I cannot recommend to anyone. Steer clear and save yourself the headache!

Bait and switch. Saved 10% when I purchased, and now at renewal, both home and auto are up more than 40%. I had zero claims in this period, and somehow my home insurance jumped from $1,200 to $2,100. Do not use this company!

Do NOT purchase Branch Insurance. Go with someone else if possible. I was drawn to their cheaper home/auto insurance, but they only offer 6-month policies and increase the cost at each renewal. Additionally, they absolutely refuse to change the due date you choose when you first apply with them. I have asked to change it for years, but they "can't." I end up going into cancellation every single month because of how my pay schedule changed. I always make my payment, but it's a little over a week late each month. Instead of offering a solution where I pay a prorated amount to move my payment date, they simply tell you that going into cancellation isn't a big deal unless you lapse. Moreover, they probably wouldn't accept you if you have a lapse in insurance. I cannot express how much I dislike Branch Insurance. They are the pickiest insurance I've ever dealt with and I absolutely do not recommend them to anyone. Not worth the headache.

Do not buy! We bundled home and auto as they had reasonable rates and appeared to be user-friendly. However, in one year, our home insurance nearly doubled without any claims, and our auto insurance for two owned vehicles, with no accidents or tickets, has increased by over $300 per month in the 1.5 years we've been with them. We were just notified that our renewal will cost $100 more come March.
On top of paying an exorbitant amount of money, we have tried to use roadside assistance twice for a bad battery, occurring six+ months apart. The first time, the tow took over four hours to arrive. The second time, the tow never showed up. Every time we called to inquire about the estimated time of arrival, we were told 45 minutes. Thankfully, it was only my husband and not our whole family with our kids. At around 3 a.m., he gave up waiting, canceled the roadside request, and paid for a tow out of pocket. The next day, when he called to inform them and seek reimbursement, he was told there wasn't a guarantee and there was only 'a chance' he'd be reimbursed since the tow was not authorized by the company.
So, you'll end up paying exorbitant amounts of money and not even receive the basic services you pay for. I feel like a fool for signing up with this company and will definitely not be renewing in March.

Do not purchase Branch insurance from this company; they are a rip-off. They do not pay out on their policies; you're just giving away free money. They have cheap rates for a reason: You get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

Do not purchase Branch Insurance—the worst company! Had an accident due to a police chase in Dallas, TX. The person fleeing from the police ran a red light, and we hit him when he did. Our car was totaled. Branch did not honor our rental car agreement, did not assist with the at-fault driver's insurance company, low-balled us on our car value, did not cover the replacement car, did not cover taxes, license, and did not cover injuries. It's the worst company!
