Century Federal Credit Union

Happy to cash a check on Wednesday, I've brought the same kind of check in there numerous times. It doesn't matter to wait two days for it to clear. I brought it in here Wednesday at lunchtime would not allow me to take a penny out of it. Then, they allowed me to have $200 the following day, now that's all that's available until, I guess, Monday. They told me that it would not be available, or I would have paid the $25 to get it cashed and deposited the cash in case I needed it. I hope I never have to go inside that bank again. I am very tempted to just close my account. Oh, and I just got out of the hospital too, and I needed to get medicine, but those people don't care. That's at your Heritage Olympia Shopping Center. Such ignorant, terrible people.

I have been a customer for close to five years and I’m waiting to pay off my car and walk away. Most credit unions are helpful to their clients, but this Credit Union has done nothing but raise my rates and deny me. For example, during the pandemic, we were all at home. I started using my credit cards which put me in a bind, so I went to CENFED, and they denied me a consolidation loan but raised my rate. I went to Navy Federal; they doubled what I asked for and directed me towards financial assistance if I needed it. I didn't; the loan was fine. Twice I've tried to get some assistance from Century Federal Credit Union, only to be denied. I have never been late or missed a payment; I just have credit card debt because of my usage during the pandemic. Now they're telling me I need a 700+ credit score to get a loan. If you know anything about credit, your utilization is very impactful. They know this and still denied me, although all my payments are on time. Bottom line, Navy Federal has been a lifesaver. This bank here is not good, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Please stay away from Century Federal Credit Union.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Made people wait for their checks all New Years weekend. Which most people are older, getting retirement checks and THIS Sorry CU made them wait. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN

Takes way tooooooo long to post payments, debit transactions, loan payments made or need to make.
They should update their systems, the turn around is horrible! Every bank in the word transactions post same day, theirs take 3-4 days to post to your account! ????

Century Federal Credit Union has been okay to work with, and I have for about 3 years. Their loan rates are pretty good. I will say, sometimes they’re bad at answering the phone. I’ve called in several times before and haven’t gotten an answer, so I’ve had to physically drive there and stop in. Luckily, they are pretty close to me (and I can do mobile banking, too, which is always nice). I like that, while they are a large credit union, it still feels very personal and local.

Century Federal is one of the largest credit unions in Northeast Ohio, which is perfect for me so I'm always close to one of their locations and one of their ATMS. Everyone working there is great and super friendly, so I never feel so much like a number as I have at other national banks. They also have mobile banking and online baking like other bigger banks, so I find that convenient as well. I'd definitely recommend them if you are in the area.

Century Federal Credit Union is the best place I could find for a car loan. I searched around other places but they had the best rate and also the best people working for them. After applying for and receiving the loan, everything has gone smoothly and I have no complaints. Their website is easy to use and the payments come right out of my account and are credited quickly. Their customer service department is also very helpful and always available to help. I've called in with questions in the past and they've all be answered very well. Five stars for Century Federal Credit Union. They are the place to go.

Hello, my name is Matthew Marvin. Century Federal Credit Union has been in my family for years. I am very pleased to be allowed the opportunity to have a Century account. Century has great programs, decent loan rates, and some of the best customer service around. I travel a lot and no matter which Century location I visit the staff are always friendly. I even hate talking to people on the phone about business but I can honestly say that Century makes it easy. Without century I would never have had my own business. Maybe he was just really board but my Century agent always gave me good advice. I felt like he really wanted to help me. Most places just want to push you into their programs so they can steal your money but my agent did quite the opposite! Thank you all who have helped me at Century.

My family has been a member of Century since my father's company first became a SEG in the 1990's. As a result of his membership, our immediate family was also allowed to join. When I was 18 and started working full time, I opened a bank account, because it just seemed like that was what everyone else did. I don't think at that age I entirely understood the difference between the two, but I learned pretty quickly.
Since I closed my bank account and went to Century, I have had nothing but good experiences. I always feel like they value me, regardless of my income level, and there is a real sense of community within the organization. When I am having an issue, or trying to figure out the best options/financial decisions, I feel like I'm getting real support, from people who actually care about my success, and not just my money.
Century has some great programs. I own my own (small) business, and being a member made that possible. My loans were reasonable, and didn't leave me in debt for years trying to pay off accrued interest. I would not have been able to pursue my ideas if I hadn't been part of their union, and now, as I'm expanding, I am eager to align my own business as a SEG. I feel like whatever problems or difficulties I run into, I can rely on their advice and help, and that my business, and not my money, is the bottom line. This was something I rarely felt when I was banking with traditional banks.
There are several locations and their website is an excellent resource, which makes my life a lot easier. If you're looking for someplace that you can grow with, and who will face the ebb and flow of your fiscal life with you, then you could not find a better place. I highly recommend them, and I am incredibly grateful that my father's company introduced me to the concept, because many people aren't familiar with how they work, or even what they are. Once you do know, you'll never look at banks the same way again.
