Small, local and nice credit union. The Dupont branch, which is also the headquarters, is VERY nice, a beautiful facility staffed by excellent employees. The Tacoma branch is 180 degrees off. Small, old, musty and less than excellent customer experience.
Despite the small size of this credit union, the range of services is great, offering everything from Interest-Bearing Checking Accounts to Car Loans, Home Equity Loans, Credit Cards & everything else.
Signing up requires going to a physical branch and filling out forms, etc., you can't sign up online, as you do with most credit unions. Not a member of the Shared Branching Co-op, so you really need to be "Local", as deposits & withdrawals can only be performed at a physical branch.
Mobile app for Android is good. Simple, straight-forward with a nice interface and able to perform most regular functions that you'd find on the website. Online experience is also good. Overall, this is a very good credit union.

I have been with C1CU for 5 years and from the very beginning, my experience has been A+ with them. Customer service is a very big deal with them and making sure that their customers are happy. Love the small bank feel with no lines, security guards, and that hurried mentality. In fact, I go out of my way to do business in the bank rather than at the ATM or on line both of which are good. I like that I don't get the ATM user fees when using the ATMs as long as I am at another credit union bank and it doesn't have to be C1CU. A couple of times there have be some over sight on my part and theirs and they investigated the issues immediately and then made sure that I was happy with the solution. Once they agreed to release some monies from a very large check that was deposited regardless of the hold. I know that their decision was based on who wrote the check and how long I had been a customer but just the same, they came through for me.
