Not sure if Communitywide Federal Credit Union is engaging in predatory business practices or if they are just willfully incompetent. They tried to charge me extremely high insurance premiums for a policy that I did not need because of a clerical error. After six months of calling every month to find out why they were claiming I didn't have insurance, I finally got CWFCU on the phone with my insurance agency to resolve the problem. In the meantime, they had, without my knowledge, scheduled my vehicle for repossession and stopped taking the automatic payments. When I was finally able to get them to recognize their error, they admitted their wrongdoing and removed the erroneous insurance premiums. At this point, I found out they had not been taking the monthly auto loan payments out of my account, at which point I paid in full. However, they still reported six months of late payments to the credit bureau, which is the only negative mark on my entire credit report. After finding out about the negative impact on my credit report, I disputed the erroneous negative report within the two-year timeframe. It was my understanding that this would be removed from my credit report, only to recently find out it was not while applying for a loan and finding out my credit score of 620 was too low for them, even though before they made this false representation of late payments, my credit score was above 730. Also, note that every single time I have tried to call to resolve an issue with them, I am on hold for at least 15 minutes, and when I do get someone on the phone, they have a combative and demeaning attitude towards their customer. I have paid off one vehicle finance through them on time as scheduled and have paid off 90% of another vehicle loan without ever missing a payment. I intend to buy two new work vans in the very near future, but rest assured, it will not be financed through Communitywide Federal Credit Union! Do not finance through them unless you’re willing to do their job for them!

CW needs to hire individuals who truly listen to their customers and pay attention. Stop assuming you know more than the customers and telling them they are wrong. After a month of communication, your employee finally admitted that they had made a mistake. Pay attention and actively listen to your customers!

Been with them for years. Excellent service, best rates, and excellent customer service! They have outstanding rates for IRAs. Their high-rate savings account is amazing. I finally moved all my checking and savings accounts to this FCU. The website is easy to use. It's super easy to make mobile deposits, much better than my previous banks. Can't do Zelle, but otherwise, it's so easy to get customer service. They know your name and are so friendly. Absolutely love this bank!

I am literally almost ready to make July's payment in June. Hasn't even gave me a boost in my credit. Patient update after I take an appointment every month so that my credit boost. Still haven't updated and I'm getting ready to pay September's payment in a couple weeks. I would like to improve my credit score please and thank you.

Poor website. User experience is a zero. Almost impossible to navigate. Can't view scheduled payments so almost impossible to keep up with payments.

1 Star; the website is horrible; not so user friendly to actually set up your own banking card to make your loan payments on time, etc. Almost feels like they give you the run around on it all - worse banking website I've used. Wouldn't recommend.

Loan is solid and the creditor is easy to work with. Interest was a little high but I was in immediate need of a vehicle at the time.

They do not report monthly payments on any type of schedule. They actually make you look bad to other lenders by not reporting monthly. I now have been watching this acct: they are not reporting payments on a regular basis.

Fair APR Rate, great customer service skills, very friendly environment. Highly recommend this Credit Union for all your banking and loans needs!

My clutch went out of my car this particular car well let me just say fixing the clutch was not a simple job nor was it an affordable job I tried a couple different Avenues with no luck i have worked very hard to build my credit so I decided to call community wide Federal credit Union they were the only place to give me a chance to prove i am dependable it made since to me that I should ask them for either a second loan or refinance my car to pay the hefty price of a new clutch even though with what I still owed on the car and the price of the clutch together was a fine line of the cars value but community wide agreed to refinance thank you CWFCU you are the one I will use in future transaction

I been paid this loan in full. Please take this off my credit it is not a late payment. This should have been off my credit. Who put it back on my credit

We've experienced nothing but the absolute worst with this company. Their online interface is one of the worst designed things I have seen in my life. Trying to actually pay the auto loan is a nightmare. They offer an option to make a debit payment, but it doesn't work. Support said it would be available at the end of the year; in 2018. Still doesn't work. Their two factor isn't working right now, so trying to pay my bill just isn't working. I tried setting up an automatic payment, but their system somehow "forgot" to do my automatic payment a few months back, so we almost didn't pay on time despite the fact that there was plenty of money in the account to cover it. Their support is nonexistent for the most part, and they are doing nothing to fix their website. Do NOT take out an auto loan here. It's an absolute nightmare.
