Can I leave a negative Star rating? I co-signed on a loan with my son last year on his 18th birthday. He killed himself in the car in January this year. He shot himself in the head. They repossessed the car after I refused to drive it or pay for it any longer. They sold it and I still owe 20,000$. I will never pay that. I will file bankruptcy before they see a single dime. This is after squeezing every single penny in late fees due to their poor systems returning my sons payments over and over. Poorest customer service ever.

I have been paying this car payment for 2 years now the original balance was 13,000 and for some reason my balance after 2 years of making $357.00 for a little over 2 years my balance is $12,200 something like that 🤣 what is going on there somebody please help me

During my illness Consumer worked with me to take care of my payments and my loan. During my divorce they were also so very understanding of my situation. Doing business with them is good business. They are AWESOME

Interest rates are too high. It seems like the amount owed is not reducing.

Scam this place! They tell you that you are approved, together with the dealership they let you take the car, and then weeks later they tell you that you are not approved. Scam, scam, scam. Run away. Maus Nissan uses this company to go hand in hand.

They are completely unreasonable; I don't understand these people. And if they think they are getting anything but a severe reprimand from me, then they truly are crazy.

They are the rudest, most unpleasant people I've ever spoken to. They harass you by calling several times a day, every day, not just with one representative, but with several different ones. They talk down to you and treat you as if it's your fault you signed the contract, so you owe them! I bought my car 19 months ago, and I've owed $14,950 since day one; finance charges haven't dropped at all! On March 2nd, 2025, after paying for 3 years on my car (over $15,000), they repossessed my car at 10:30 at night. The repo man went to my neighbor's address, drove through their yard, across a ditch and through my mother-in-law's front yard to get the car, and dragged it back across the ditch! People need to get together and file a lawsuit against this company not only for the verbal mistreatment the customers have to endure from them but also for the harassment and misconduct. They get better by manipulating rates and finance charges! My car was only $7,000 on the car lot, but by the time they ran it through, it was $30,000. I paid for 3 years on the car, and the finance charges never decreased. The monthly payments I made—only $25-$90—went towards the principal, and the rest was finance charges! Thank goodness I am done. I hate that I lost the car, but I am so happy I never have to deal with this company again!

This is the worst loan company ever! I've had my car since 2017, and I'm still paying it off. All my money goes to their high-interest rates. They call every day if I'm a day late on my payment. Customer service is the worst; everyone is rude and not helpful. Then they want to charge you $4 to make a payment unless you make it in person with cash. I regret using this company; I've paid more in interest than the actual price of the car. I just want out of this company; the payoff amount is more than what my car is worth. Don't use them! They're scammers and just taking money.

The worst. They will report incorrect information to the credit bureaus. Absolutely the worst customer service and my overall experience with them. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Stay away!

Whatever you do, do not go with this company! They will falsify records to the credit bureaus, saying you're behind on your payments when you're not. I have proven this to them multiple times, yet they fail to update their records! Go somewhere else.

Decent company but don’t ask for a rate change cause it isn’t happening or refinancing cause they don’t believe in helping customers

I would never use them again! Their interest rate loans are a rip off and so is the payoff amount and they won’t even negotiate when need be.

under handed practices. Was lied to regarding vehicle, and attorney lied and said they worked for them and didn't. So they billed me more than what i owed

Helped me out with a car loan when no one else would help I had searched everywhere for an automobile, but my credit report has so many inaccuracies, and that I barely got financing but thank you for your service
